!Soju [-(15th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/soju.png]]

->'''Age''': 27
->'''From''': Chicago, Illinois

->"I'm your K-Pop princess!"

----
* AscendedFanboy: She hosts "Shots with Soju" on [=YouTube=] where she reviews every episode of ''Drag Race''.
* CuteClumsyGirl: Due to having tendonitis, she admits in the makeover challenge to having never tried wearing anything higher than a kitten heel (she confesses to wearing jelly flats on the runway in the first episode). Ample screen time is dedicated to Silky's attempt to get her to walk in higher heels with amusing results.
* HardDrinkingPartyGirl: Part of the gimmick of her internet persona. Her [=YouTube=] series, ''Shot with Soju'', is centered around the concept of interviewing famous drag queens while taking shots intermittently throughout the video. Soju itself is in fact a type of Korean liquor.
* HiddenDepths: She has a black belt in taekwondo and she's proficient with nunchakus, which she demonstrates with her entrance look.
* HistoryRepeats: Another season, another girl who cannot sew and goes home first after a sewing challenge.
* InSeriesNickname: "Cyst-er" (pronounced 'Sister'), thanks to the cyst she developed on her taint (which she shared with the judges in her first episode).
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Her cyst became the running joke of the season.
* TemptingFate: Vanessa tried to warn her not to go heavy on the tulle.
* TooMuchInformation: She overshares her medical predicaments - involving tendonitis and an oozing cyst on her nether regions - during the critiques.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Goes home in the very first episode. Although she does get more screen time in the makeover challenge.

!Kahanna Montrese [-(14th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kahanna.png]]

->'''Age''': 25
->'''From''': Las Vegas, Nevada

->"Vegas is back in the house, and this time, we're hitting jackpots!"

----
* DanceBattler: Both of her lip-syncs heavily feature acrobatics.
* LamarckWasRight: She has a broken off upper left premolar, just like her drag mother Coco.
* WardrobeMalfunction: Loses her skirt on the runway in the second episode when she steps on it by accident.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Goes home in the second episode, and all we really learn about her is that she's a dancer and Coco Montrese's drag daughter. She doesn't even end up with a potential meme like Soju and Vanjie. Compounded by the fact that she's one of the three queens not brought back for the makeover challenge.

!Honey Davenport [-(13th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/honey_7.png]]

->'''Age''': 32
->'''From''': New York City, New York

->"This honey is raw and unfiltered."

----
* AnimalMotifs: Honeybees have been channeled into her [=RuVeal=] look, entrance look, Reunion look, ''and'' Finale look.
* BigApplesauce: Based out of New York City, she's the drag mother of Season 10/All Star 4's Monét X Change and started her career as a backup dancer for {{Creator/Peppermint}}.
* ImpracticallyFancyOutfit: Her fringe runway look winds up severely limiting her movement during the 6 way lipsync: her death drop is muddled and she has to flounder back onto the stage like a fish, leading to her elimination.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted, is one of three (!) of the renown House Davenport in this season alone (in addition to A'keria and Ra'jah), and a drag relative to Sahara and Kennedy of prior ''Drag Race'' seasons.
* PunnyName: Her name is "Honey" and she constantly dresses up in a honeybee/beehive aesthetic.

!Mercedes Iman Diamond [-(12th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mercedes_5.png]]

->'''Age''': 31
->'''From''': Minneapolis, Minnesota

-> "I'm ready to show the world that [Muslims are not terrorists]."

----
* BookEnds: She enters the workroom doing a celebratory African ululation, and she repeats it when leaving the main stage after getting eliminated.
* CoolCar: Named herself for the Mercedes she owned when she started doing drag.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She got a flying ban after 9/11 because of her religion and Muslim-sounding name, and so she had to spend several hours driving to her gigs. The exhaustion and lack of sleep caught up when she had a stroke which left her on a wheelchair, with her entire right side paralyzed, some years ago.
* NWordPrivileges: In the Diva Worship challenge, she decides to play a tribal African character who lives in the jungle, thinks Britney is an actual spear, and is converted, American evangelical-style, to Britney-ism. Needless to say, this would be an extremely problematic choice if anyone else had made it.
* PopculturalOsmosisFailure: Knows nothing about the Trump family, so when she's tasked to play Ivanka she knows absolutely nothing about her mannerisms and delivers a flat performance, leading to her elimination.
* ScrewThisImOutOfHere: When questioned about her Muslim heritage in the third episode, she feels incredibly uncomfortable and just walks away from the conversation, leaving the other queens confused on if they did something wrong. She apologises for this in the next episode, explaining that she doesn't feel comfortable talking about her religion in fear of being judged.
* ShrinkingViolet: She gets called out in the second episode for having made herself tiny in the challenge and on the runway.
* UnsportsmanlikeGloating: Gets called out by Kahanna in the reunion when Mercedes posted their lip-synch on twitter before the episode even aired with the caption "shante you stay!", insinuating she won (which she did). Kahanna said it came off as incredibly disrespectful towards her own feelings.

!Creator/ArielVersace [-(11th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ariel_8.png]]

->'''Age''': 26
->'''From''': Cherry Hill, New Jersey

->"Now ''this'' is what dreams are made of. Nyass!"

----
* CatchPhrase: "Nnnnnnnnyass!"
* {{Cosplay}}: Her first episode runway is an intentional reference to Poison Ivy, with a Laganja Estranja twist to it.
* FlatCharacter: Is struggling to step out of this misconception that just because she's an "Instagram Queen" that she's untalented at anything other than looking good for photos. That being said, many of her competitors act quite dubious that Ariel has the ability of bringing anything to the table other than being photo-ready. During her final Untucked, however, she does receive touching encouragement from the other girls that she has shown she is more than just a "Look Queen" and can hold her head up high with what she's shown in the competition.
* HypocrisyNod: Gets this during the reunion when looking back at her negative Confessionals regarding Soju, calling the latter just an online queen with no performing talent. It gets loudly pointed out by the group that Ariel is a well known "Instagram Queen" and it was huge hypocrisy that she called Soju out on the very same thing she, herself, was struggling with (with only arguable success).
* InternalHomage: While designing her Laganja-inspired dress, she sits under a table with a notepad just like the infamous shot of Laganja herself in Season 6.
* ThePratfall: Trips on her train during her LSFYL and takes a hard tumble to the ground, making her the fourth queen to unintentionally fall on the main stage (after Akashia, Naysha Lopez, and Farrah Moan).
* SmallRoleBigImpact: The Wig-gate arc that emerges over several episodes after her elimination. To wit: Multiple of Ariel's wigs were left in the Werk Room after she left, with only one explicitly being left to Silky. Plastique laid claim to the remainder due to their close relationship; despite not having a note, she assumed the wigs being near her station was intentional. Several other queens questioned this, and as of the makeover episode where Ariel was brought back, it comes to light that all of the other wigs left in the Werk Room were left entirely by accident, and she immediately sets to trying to find her wigs in other queens' stations. However during the reunion, it gets brought up Ariel said on Twitter she ''did'' leave the wigs for Plastique, but on the show she said she didn't, and some queens think she did leave her wigs as part of her business ... it gets ''very'' confusing.
* SnowballLie: The aforementioned Wig-gate, ''somewhere'' Ariel starts lying, but it's hard to say where. Plastique assumes Ariel left the wigs for her, Ariel claims she didn't leave the wigs for Plastique and only left one for Silky, but on Twitter says she did leave them for Plastique, she also says she wants all her wigs back, but then claims she only wants the wig Ra'Jah took home, and then during the reunion it's brought up the queens assumed Ariel left the wigs on purpose to promote her wig business. By the end of the snowball, no one knows exactly ''what'' happened regarding the wigs, seemingly including Ariel herself!
* YouthfulFreckles: Paints these on as part of her cutey-girl look.

!Scarlet Envy [-(10th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/scarlet_4.png]]

->'''Age''': 26
->'''From''': Brooklyn, New York

->"The world wants me, and the feeling is mutual!"

----
* BigApplesauce: Based in Brooklyn, her drag mother is Season 7's Pearl.
* TheBurlesqueOfVenus: Her entrance look is just a swimsuit with the painting on it (it's [[Art/TheBirthOfVenusBouguereau William-Adolphe Bouguerau's rendition]], however, and not the more famous [[Art/TheBirthOfVenusBotticelli Botticelli]] one).
* DisapprovingLook: She has quite the prominent "stink face" when commenting on her competitors or simply watching the workroom foolery.
* ICantDance: She's perfectly aware that she's a very mediocre dancer. When asked if she's had any dance experience, she just answers "I've dated a lot of dancers". Ends up being her downfall in the Draglympics dance challenge, landing her in the bottom against consummate dancer Ra'Jah, who sends her home.
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: Out of drag she's a twink with gorgeous brunette locks, which hasn't gone unnoticed by her fellow competitors.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: Scarlett O'Hara from Film/GoneWithTheWind.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: From the way she does her makeup down to her diction, you can very much tell she's Pearl's drag daughter.
* SouthernBelle: Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky.
* UnknownRival: On the receiving end from Brooke, during the reunion it's revealed Brooke said everyone one the show hated Scarlet ... although it turns out really only Brooke (and Ra'Jah) outright disliked her. Scarlet says it seemingly came out of no where.

!Ra'jah Davenport O'Hara [-(9th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rajah.png]]

->'''Age''': 33
->'''From''': Dallas, Texas

->"Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Ra'Jah O'Hara's in the house and I hope you came to play."

----
* AesopAmnesia: After narrowly avoiding elimination Ra'Jah states she needs to start focusing on being positive as she seems to always naturally go to negative ... only to ''immediately'' (seconds after this confessional) mouth off to Yvie [[MomentKiller when the latter told her she needed to step up her game in the challenges and stop making excuses.]]
* DanceBattler: She ''is'' a Davenport, after all. Sending three competitors home (two if you don't count the six-way lip sync), Ra'Jah is the lip-sync assassin of the season.
* GracefulLadiesLikePurple: Ra'Jah ''loves'' the color purple, and she'll take any opportunity to put it in one of her looks.
* HairTriggerTemper: Has quite the temper, and as she warned, she's not the kind of bitch you want to fuck with.
* {{Hypocrite}}: During her fight with Yvie, she declares that "an ugly girl can never come for a pretty girl"; when she's sent home, she says she hopes the judges "finally call out some of those pretty girls".
* HistoricalCharacterConfusion: Due to having a drag name that's essentially a threefold mish-mash of one previously winning queen's first name (Raja) and the last names of two frequently appearing drag-houses (Davenport + O'Hara), she lacks a certain memorability and individuality amongst her fellow queens.
* ItsAllAboutMe: In her final Untucked, she gets ''incensed'' that Plastique was comforted by Ru, got a video message from her boyfriend, and that Alyssa (Plastique's drag mother) was a special guest in the episode. As Ra'Jah puts it, she felt really down but decides to put Plastique down for receiving encouragement she didn't.
** Brooke points out how absurd it is by noting that Plastique ends up comforting Ra'jah for being mad at Plastique.
* KnowNothingKnowItAll: During the first choreography challenge Ra'Jah stands proudly claiming she's studied several forms of dance, impressing the choreographer ... until Ra'Jah later sheepishly admits (after continuously failing the moves) that those lessons were 15 years ago. The choreographer even tells her he wishes she hadn't boasted as much as she did, as it has given up unrealistic expectations of her talent and made her look bad.
* NeverMyFault: After she fails to impress choreographer Yanis Marshall after claiming she's trained in several forms of dance (only to have to reveal that training actually occurred over a decade ago) she angrily claims (during the next choreography challenge) that Yanis was unprofessional and it was his fault he did so poorly.
* OneSteveLimit: A rare ''three''-for-one aversion, being a member of both Houses Davenport ''and'' O'Hara, as well as sharing a first name with Raja, winner of Season 3. In this season alone, A'keria and Honey are drag relatives of hers, and she also shares a house relationship to Asia, Phi Phi, Sahara and Kennedy of previous seasons (Eureka shares the O'Hara name but is not part of House O'Hara).
* RejectedApology:
** Her and Yvie get into a heated argument in which Yvie made some uncute and admittedly childish comments about Ra'jah's make-up. During Untucked Yvie fully admits she clapped back and it was unprofessional and offered what seemed to be a genuine apology, only for Ra'jah to shake her head and storm out of the studio, continuing to badmouth Yvie and reject the apology.
** In spite of Plastique apologising/comforting Ra'Jah for her receiving encouragement, Ra'jah continues to badmouth Plastique to A'Keria anyway.
* TookALevelInKindness: In the reunion; while her apology to Yvie is debatable and she didn't necessarily apologize to Scarlet, she does have a heart-to-heart with Plastique about their last Untucked and apologizes to her with, "Hurt people hurt people, and I'm sorry that I hurt you."
* WardrobeMalfunction: The earrings for Ra'jah's entrance look fall off several times over the course of the first episode.

!Creator/PlastiqueTiara [-(8th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/plastique.png]]

->'''Age''': 21
->'''From''': Dallas, Texas

->"Xin chào các bạn, tôi là Plastique Tiara của Việt Nam." (Vietnamese for "Hello, I'm Plastique Tiara from Vietnam.")

----
* BoringButPractical: She brings out her signature silhouette (a corset with a flowing, open-front skirt) for the Episode 1 design challenge, and gets lightly called out as a result.
* CreatorsPet: [[invoked]] Invoked by Ra'Jah and some of the other girls when Plastique got affirmation from Ru, a visit from her Drag Mom Alyssa Edwards, and a touching video message from her boyfriend during Untucked. More than a few times the queens angrily accused the producers of setting Plastique up for the final four.
* DressesTheSame: An interesting cross-episode variation: In Episode 5, Vanjie wore an angelic outfit and Plastique wore a Playboy Bunny outfit. In the very next episode, Plastique wore an angelic outfit and Vanjie wore a bunny outfit.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Plays with this trope for the Evangelical challenge. The trigger for this voice? Music/ArianaGrande.
* FunnyForeigner: She plays the role of a heavily-accented Vietnamese nail tech twice, for laughs: once in Why It Gotta Be Black, Panther?!, and once as Lovely Mimi in the Snatch Game.
* GratuitousForeignLanguage: Likes to throw out Vietnamese phrases every so often. Played with, however, as Vietnamese is technically her native language, and English, which she uses the majority of the time, is her foreign language.
* HiddenDepths: Despite her coming off like a stereotypical "look queen", she has the judges in stitches with her portrayal of the aforementioned nail tech. Averted for the next challenge however, in which her attempt at a possessed converter comes across incoherent and unfocused.
* {{Nepotism}}: {{Averted}}, when Alyssa Edwards arrives in Episode 7 to coach the queens on how to work a runway she states openly that she's not going to play favourites towards Plastique. This doesn't stop Plastique from winning the challenge.
* PopculturalOsmosisFailure: Despite living in the US for a decade, Plastique is wholly unfamiliar with mainstream American culture, particularly divas like Music/{{Beyonce}} (who she only found out about 4 years ago) and Music/MariahCarey, which puts her up for elimination in the Evangelical challenge.
* RedOniBlueOni: Believe it or not, she's the drag daughter of Alyssa Edwards. She herself notes being a more introverted personality surrounded by extroverts.
* SoBeautifulItsACurse: Gets called out by the judges that while she has a stellar aesthetic and is quite naturally feminine, she is serving zero personality and is being denied wins because she just isn't making any sort of connection with the judges.

!Shuga Cain [-(7th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shuga.png]]

->'''Age''': 40
->'''From''': New York City, New York

->"Get ready y'all, because this shuga is ''so'' sweet!"

----
* BigApplesauce: Currently based in New York City.
* BraidsBeadsAndBuckskins: She's of Salvadoran and Apache descent, and channels the latter as aesthetic for her fringe runway.
* DoingItForTheArt[[invoked]]: Gave up a six-figure salary to do drag.
* ImpossiblyTackyClothes: Her slutty Trick or Treater look, in which she claimed to be dressed up like a Troll doll, is easily the worst look among her otherwise stellar outfits.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: Named for Shug Avery from Literature/TheColorPurple and Candis Cayne.
* NiceGirl: Let's say that "sweetness" doesn't apply to her name only.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: A repeated issue that the judges point about Shuga is that she tends to fade into the background when compared to the bigger, louder personalities of other queens. She finally gets eliminated by once again being unable to stand out in her group magic act, despite delivering an overall more cohesive and entertaining performance than the other group.
* PunnyName: In addition to being NamedAfterSomebodyFamous, her drag name is a play on the phrase "sugar cane".
* SpicyLatina: Averted. She's Hispanic but has a plain American accent and doesn't usually go for stereotypical Latin drag.
** PlayedStraight when she portrays Charo in the Snatch Game.

!Nina West [-(6th + Miss Congeniality)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nina_6.png]]

->'''Age''': 39
->'''From''': Columbus, Ohio

->"Welcome to season 11. It looks like things just got eleven-gendary!"

----
* AllLovingHero: Nina is an activist for LGBTQ+ rights and will try to incorporate her activism into her drag whenever she can. When she reveals the bullying she received for being gay, she is quick to point out that she is still a cisgender white man, meaning she has more privilege than transgender people. During her final runway she also dressed herself and Shuga in the gay and transgender flags.
* BrawnHilda: Her look for the "All That Glitters" Runway.
* CampGay: Her preferred style of Drag.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: While in college she was targeted by an underground gay-hate student group, who carved the word "FAG" in her door with a knife, sent her death threat notes, and made threatening phone calls using a voice modifier. At one point, the group actually arrived at Nina's dorm with the real intention of lynching her, causing her to have to go into hiding in a girls' dorm for two weeks until the group got bored and picked a new target. Nina says this was especially scary for her because this happened right after the tragic Matthew Shepard incident.
* ICantDance: Made clearest in her infamously bad lipsync against Silky. Nina simply has no idea what to do, and mostly shuffles around awkwardly to the beat looking completely uninspired, which ultimately spells the end for Nina. Silky may have been a complete mess next to her, but at least Silky ''tried''.
* LadyLooksLikeADude: Has been read on her lack of proportionizing and that she's not delivering enough womanly shape ... although she quickly gets better after the critiques.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: Nina Simone and the fashion company Nine West.
* NiceGirl: A genuinely kind and helpful queen, who even tries to steer the others away from arguing in Untucked on more than one occasion. Her elimination monologue even goes into how she believes it's possible to be successful while staying kind and loving. She would ultimately win Miss Congeniality.
* WearingAFlagOnYourHead: Out of drag she quite literally wears a ball cap with the Ohio flag, as she's from Columbus. She also sports a dress with the Ohio flag as well at one point, and in her final runway she wore the gay pride flag while her partner was trans pride.

!Vanessa Vanjie Mateo [-(5th)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vanessa_2.png]]

->'''Age''': 26
->'''From''': Tampa, Florida

->"Bitch, I'm back."

----
* BigDamnKiss: With Brooke Lynn during her elimination.
* BookEnds: Both her entrance (hiding behind a folding curtain while the other girls walked in) and her exit (leaving the stage only to come back twice and keep talking) were both unique and for comedy.
* BumblingDad: Attempted in Good God Girl, Get Out! with mixed success. Initially she was told she just sounded like herself, but the end result amusingly turned out to be what Ross describes as being more like a drag Cookie Monster.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Has an on-set romance with Brooke Lynn Heights, and during a mini-challenge which required the queens to press up intimately to nearly-naked Pit Crew members, Vanjie continuously shoots Brooke dirty looks and attempts to cover her eyes.
* DressesTheSame: An interesting cross-episode variation: In Episode 5, Vanjie wore an angelic outfit and Plastique wore a Playboy Bunny outfit. In the very next episode, Plastique wore an angelic outfit and Vanjie wore a bunny outfit. Vanjie's bunny outfit was, unfortunately, most notable with the fans for being a significantly worse take on an outfit that was executed ''very'' well by Plastique literally only one week prior.
* ImpossiblyTackyClothes: In addition to lacking variation in her silhouettes, Vanjie's runways have become increasingly less fashionable. Her golden bunny outfit looked cheap and deformed her padding while her facekini outfit looked unfitted and had no shape to it.
* HypocriticalHumor: During a mini-challenge in which the queens must move balls pressed up against a hunky Pit Crew member she constantly tries to avert Brooke's gaze and shooting her dirty looks during her turn, only for on her own turn to immediately grab her own Pit Crew member by both asscheeks (and proceeding to win the challenge).
* LadyInRed: Her first three runway looks (along with her entrance look) have all been red.
* LargeHam: It's ''Vanjie,'' need more be said? You already knew she was a natural loudmouth going into the season; by the time of her elimination, between her and Silky, it's amazing there was any scenery left to chew. She can't even get ''eliminated'' without hogging the limelight some more, to the delight of the other contestants and the judges.
* LimitedWardrobe: Has been criticized by the judges for presenting very similar silhouettes and color schemes in the runway week after week, which has all but costed her several challenge wins she seemed a shoo-in for. This issue causes her to narrowly avoid the Bottom 2 in Episode 6, when the judges clock her leotard bunny look for being simplistic, and again in Episode 8 when her swimsuit-with-a-cape look unfortunately followed a very poor Snatch Game performance.
* MyGreatestSecondChance: Is back to compete after being eliminated first last season. As noted by the judges, she made amazing strides this time around.
* OverlyLongGag: True to form, when she gets eliminated, she leaves the stage in a fairly anticlimactic manner...and then immediately walks back on, saying she's still there and to not turn the spotlight off yet. She leaves again...and then walks back on for a second time to remind Ru to cut her her check.
* SayMyName: Since the crux of the meme around her is shouting her name, this happens often. When she hides in the werk room to watch the other queens enter, she reveals herself when they call her name in the familiar chant.
* TheStinger: PlayedForLaughs, her infamous "Miss Vanjie!" is played at the tail end of her elimination episode.

!Silky Nutmeg Ganache [-(3rd=)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/silky_4.png]]

->'''Age''': 28

->"Munch munch, crunch crunch, Silky Ganache is here to eat the lunch."

----
* AffectionateNickname: After learning about her academic career, Ru calls her "Doctor Silky Ganache". Ru plays with this thereafter, calling Silky titles such as "The Reverend Doctor Silky Ganache" or simply "Doctor Ganache".
* {{Anticlimax}}: Silky talked a big game about how if she was put in the bottom, she would absolutely turn it out, as many times as she'd have to (to Yvie's annoyance). When she found herself in the bottom, however, her performance was a complete letdown, with clumsy dancing, a sloppy wig reveal, and a split at half-speed. Coupled with her opponent, Nina West, being a complete washout as a performer, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCpzhV8ePE0 the result]] was one of the most infamously lackluster lip-syncs of the series. It's really a miracle Silky survived that one, and her somewhat more humble attitude after this performance is worth noting.
* AttentionWhore: She's ''very'' loud and all over the place, to the point where it quickly overwhelms both her fellow queens and many viewers. She openly admits that her over-the-top shenanigans are a deliberate grasp for as much airtime as possible.
* BerserkButton: While Silky seems to get riled up by a lot of things, she claims people underestimating her talent, and in particular being called "talentless" (as Yvie found out) is something that will immediately set her off.
* BigBeautifulWoman: And she'll be the first to tell you.
* BigEater: Both her current and original drag name (Lasagna Frozeen) are foods.
* BoisterousWeakling: Any time she was afraid she might be in the bottom, she would declare in Untucked that she was ready not just to lip sync, but to dance circles around any competition and ''destroy'' anyone she was up against. Her first time in the bottom two, against Nina ([[ICantDance who's not known for being a dancer]]), yielded the first ever instance of Rupaul looking at a pair of competitors and saying, literally, "Meh." Many fans agree that only the timing of the episode saved Silky - had it been even a little earlier in the season, viewers might have been looking at a double sashay.
* CantTakeCriticism: Either she makes excuses, or gets incredibly irritable. Usually, it's both, and it's a major factor in her rift with Yvie Oddly.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: When the judges read her for only delivering pageant glamour, even in challenges and runways that require more than beauty (such as the Halloween runway), she actually interprets it as a good thing, because they're telling her she's beautiful. She's even said multiple times that she's fine if she lands on the bottom because of being beautiful.
* DeathGlare: During critiques for the Snatch Game, Silky would angrily glare and give the stink eye whenever any of her fellow queens received any sort of positive feedback. This wouldn't have been so obvious save for the fact the camera would cut to Silky constantly to show that she was indeed still giving this look every time.
* DeerInTheHeadlights: At the finale, the Lip Sync for the Crown wheel landed on her, meaning she had to choose her opponent. Since her options were Brooke Lynn (a professional ballet dancer who had already won two lip syncs), Yvie (also an excellent dancer, and a former rival whom she would probably still be embarrassed to be beaten by) or A'keria (''another'' good dancer, and a close friend as well), it's perhaps not surprising that she [[OhCrap froze up in panic]] for a couple of seconds before ultimately choosing Brooke Lynn. Sure enough, Silky just can't compete with her.
* ForcedMeme: Tries to bring one over from her cable show, calling out "attitude check!" and getting the response "fuck you bitch!" from the crowd. The queens only play along the first two times--by the third attempt, Silky's already worn out her goodwill and all she gets is crickets. This sets a tone for the season of Silky's personality being a bit too much at times.
* {{Forgiveness}}: Becomes her theme come the penultimate episode, she starts by finally forgiving Yvie for calling her 'talentless' and proceeds to continue by saying she will accept forgiveness from all the other queens her continue to talk about her and criticize her drag.
* FullFrontalAssault: Strips down completely for the photo-bombing mini challenge.
* HairstyleMalfunction: On two separate occasions has suffered from trying to wear a 20-inch ponytail, the first time during Snatch Game when dressed as T.S. Madison and it got terribly tangled, and the second during her Lipsynch for her Life when she did a split over for the same (presumably) pony tail to fly over her face and get tangled again.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Silky is ''constantly'' throwing shade at other queens; in the magic show challenge, she even declares that her group got all the beauty, talent and personality ([[AndZoidberg and also Yvie]]). However, any time someone else says anything negative about her, she nurses a grudge and refuses to accept an apology until much, much later.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Claims this was the case during the Reunion when she defended her choice of asking Ru to send Yvie home due to her injury the previous week. Silky says she only said it in reference to Yvie spraining her ankle, and was unaware of the severity of her disease, that it was genetic and something that wouldn't just get better.
* KnowNothingKnowItAll: During Untucked in the Farm-to-Runway challenge, Silky announces with great confidence that her [[TheRival rival]] Yvie is going to be in the bottom two, have to lip sync for her life, and go home. Silky comes across as blinded by her dislike, since Yvie comes close to ''winning'' the challenge, and goes on to win the crown.
* LargeHam: She really doesn't have an inside voice, and the personality to match.
* MessyHair: Has frizzy afro-textured hair that tends to stick ''straight up'' when out of drag. A'keria even compares it to ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' in the confessionals.
* MustMakeAmends: After being in the bottom with Nina West and barely - ''barely'' - surviving a lipsync, Silky is humbled enough where she's finally willing to settle her rivalry with Yvie.
* NeverMyFault: Had a very hard time seeing any shortcomings in her performance in the competition.
** During the Monster Ball, on finding herself in the Bottom 3, she declared that she's just "too damn beautiful to be spooky".
** After failing the make-over challenge and finding herself lipsyncing, she found a way to blame everyone but herself: Soju for having trouble walking in heels, Brooke for pairing her up with Soju to be 'shady' and for telling her that her disco look was great, and finally the producers for her piss-poor lipsync performance (getting a "Meh" from Ru) because the song wasn't 'in her genre'. She was mysteriously silent when critiqued for doing Soju's makeup badly, having almost no family resemblance, and screwing up her own padding, not to mention sloppiness during her lip sync like having her hair in her face and not having all the words down.
* NoIndoorVoice: Goodness ''gracious''. The apex is her performance during the reading mini-challenge, when she inexplicably ''shrieks'' her reads at the top of her lungs.
* OhCrap:
** Silky discovering Soju is a CuteClumsyGirl who can barely walk in heels, during the makeover challenge.
** Silky gets to spin the wheel during the finale, and gets her pick of whom she wants to lipsync against first; Yvie, Brooke, or A'keria. ''All'' of these girls are proven to be talented performers, whereas her own lipsync against Nina West is infamous for its glacial pace. She freezes up for a brief moment, before picking Brooke, who finally sends Silky packing.
* PyrrhicVictory: In the Snatch Game episode not only does she win the both the mini and the prestigious maxi challenge, she also gets the joy of seeing Brooke and Yvie, both fierce rivals of hers, land in the bottom 2. Her schadenfreude quickly comes to an end though when the two of them proceed to steal all her thunder with one of the best lip syncs in the show's herstory.
* RejectedApology: Yvie talks to her after Snatch Game and apologizes for having called her "talentless", but Silky rejects this as fake. She however admitted after the episode's airing that she should had been more forgiving. ''Finally'' at the head of episode 12 (several episodes later) Silky accepts Yvie's apology.
* TheRival: With Yvie Oddly.
* ShoutOut: Her pink cockroach dress in the finale is from the original ''Film/{{Hairspray|1988}}''.
* SilentSnarker: It's funny that someone as loud and outspoken as Silky could also be this, but when she isn't directly in the conversation but obviously has an opinion Silky will often glare or roll her eyes. The camera ''constantly'' catches Silky's facial reactions and in Episode ten's Untucked she get's called out on it.
* SilentTreatment: After Yvie has the nerve to call her untalented, Silky gives her this.
* TheSmartGirl / HiddenDepths: She holds a Master's Degree in organizational leadership and she's applying for a [=PhD=].
* SoBeautifulItsACurse: Invokes this trope on herself; as seen above in ComicallyMissingThePoint, she interprets the judges reading her for only delivering pageant beauty as they telling her she's "just too beautiful".
* SpinOff: A RunningGag early on is that Silky's over-the-top personality is a self-admitted attempt to convince the producers to give her a spin-off show after her season.
* StoutStrength: In spite of being a big girl Silky is quite strong, as she demonstrates during the 'Balls to the Wall' mini-challenge by effortlessly lifting Pit Crew member Shawn Morales into her arms and carrying him to the target (the challenge was to walk with a Pit Crew member holding a ball pressed between two pre-assigned body parts).
* UncannyValleyMakeup: Not on herself, but in the makeover challenge, she gets read for the harsh contour she applied to Soju. On a lesser note, the fact she draws her eyebrows with Sharpie has garnered her a lot of playful reads from her fellow queens.
* UnsportsmanlikeGloating: After she wins the Snatch Game, the show immediately cuts to Silky smugly throwing it into Yvie's face that just last week she had called her 'talentless' despite Yvie having previously apologized for her comments, not to mention that when Yvie is in the bottom two, Silky is all grins and giggles about the reverse of fortune. [[BreakTheHaughty Unfortunately for Silky,]] Yvie's lipsync with Brooke is such an amazing spectacle that it completely overshadows Silky's win.
* WeightWoe:
** While Silky does her best to show that she shouldn't be underestimated as a big girl, some challenges have caused her trouble. The 'Draglympics' challenge in particular saw Silky struggling to keep up, and at one point during a choreographed Shablam she actually sits unable to get back up again for a few minutes, out of breath. While she does turn it out for the actual challenge, as it gets pointed out by Yvie later, Silky missed a lot of her cues and was just incapable of doing everything her more athletic competitors could do.
** During the Reunion she admits that while taping the season she actually gained 30 pounds, stating this to be the primary reasons her padding seemed so off.

----
* BlueOni: In the Dreamgirls, composed of Silky, Vanjie and herself, she is the most down to earth.
* ImplausibleDeniability: Got this edit in the Reunion, in which she stands firm that she is ''not'' a shit-stirrer that any time she caused drama it was because she was asked ... in spite of the fact the editors show outright A'keria approaching Ra'jah (who had headphones in her ear and wasn't paying attention) to tell her she thought Plastique was lying about her family, or that in confessional she called herself the whistleblower of the episode when calling out Ariel's wigs and Scarlet's elimination opinions.
* InSeriesNickname: It took the entire season for it to stick, but by the penultimate episode A'keria has started to be known as "Miss Ass Almighty", in particular after her win for playing a hilarious twerking call girl in the ''{{Series/Cops}}'' challenge.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted, is one of three (!) of the renown House Davenport in this season alone (in addition to Honey and Ra'jah), and a drag relative to Sahara and Kennedy of prior ''Drag Race'' seasons.
* RefugeInAudacity: Downplayed, when she had to lip sync, she points the exit to her opponent, giving her the win.
* SassyBlackWoman: Played up for her role as a DMV worker in Good God Girl, Get Out! in the second episode.
* ShakingTheRump: Received her second main challenge win by playing a booty-shaking prostitute (a Twerking Girl), in which is twerked literally the entire time, from her catfight with Yvie, to breaking down and sobbing, to being put in handcuffs after trying to escape arrest!
* TheStoolPigeon: In episode 11 she makes the proclamation that it's her job to be this season's "whistle blower" and bring up things she's eavesdropped on to cause drama:
** She brings up Ariel's "Wig-Gate" incident in which Plastique assumed the wigs were left for her, only for Ariel to admit she left them by mistake (with the exception of one wig for Silky). However that wasn't good enough and A'keria berates Ariel on her wishy-washy response of wanting the wigs back immediately and tries to call her out when Ariel said she was upset Ra'Jah had left the competition with one of her wigs.
** She tattles on Scarlet when the latter was asked who she was surprised was still in the competition, knowing one of the queens Scarlet had said was Silky and knowing how poorly Silky has taken ''any'' sort of criticism. As expected, Silky, Scarlet, and Yvie all wind up in a screaming match.
** Even prior to this when Plastique Tiara had revealed her family did not accept her doing drag and Ra'Jah was having a tough week, A'keria took it upon herself to approach Ra'Jah after Plastique had gotten a touching message from her boyfriend and spun it around to make it sound like Plastique's boyfriend had said that 'Plastique's mother and grandmother loved her drag' and that Plastique was lying. Next episode A'keria even asks Plastique about it, gets a very logical response (while her mother and grandmother do know she does drag, in her traditional Vietnamese family it is just not talked about, and everyone else in her family pretends it doesn't exist) and yet A'keria is never called out on causing drama.

!Brooke Lynn Hytes [-(2nd)-]

->'''Age''': 32
->'''From''': Toronto, Ontario, Canada

->"Never fear, the queen of the north is here."

----
* BlanketFort: In order to avoid the screaming matches between the other queens during the Episode 7 Untucked, she entrenches herself in a cushion fort on the couch.
* BoringButPractical: During her final Lipsync for the Crown against Yvie, Brooke pulls out all her old go to dance tricks, which happen to include some truly sickening drops and splits. However, instead of elevating her performance, it ends up distracting from her lipsync, allowing Yvie's more emotional performance to shine through even more.
* CaptainObviousReveal: Invoked. Her look for the final lip sync of the season starts with her wearing a black robe plastered in the word "reveal". She turns around and reveals that the back of the robe says, "Here comes the reveal!" right before taking it off, thus throwing a lampshade not only on her own outfit but several finale outfits that have been clearly designed with reveals in mind.
* DanceBattler: Frames herself as a dancer in her Meet The Queens video, and trained professionally in ballet with the National Ballet School of Canada. Her training has also given her a really fierce walk and an incredible presence on the runway, as the judges noted right from episode 1. Comes out in full force in the Episode 8 lipsync... well, ''all'' of her lipsyncs, really.
* [[KillTheOnesYouLove Eliminate The Ones You Love]]: In the end, Brooke is forced to lipsync against Vanjie and finally send her packing.
* EmotionSuppression: Hilariously invoked by her during the Episode 7 Untucked.
-->'''Brooke Lynn''': Can't we just bottle our emotions like normal people?
* TheFashionista: After winning two design challenges in a row (the unconventional materials challenge ''and'' the ball) she is quickly labeled by the others as the seasonal "Look Queen", much to her own delight.
* MooseAndMapleSyrup: The first queen from Canada, Toronto to be specific. [[CultureEqualsCostume To really hammer the point home her entrance look is based off a Mountie,]] and it took her less than an episode to say "aboat" for the first time.
* NonIndicativeName: Despite her drag name, she has no long-term connection to New York City, as she's Canadian and presently makes her home in Nashville.
* OnlySaneMan: Gets hit with this ''hard'' during the course of the Farm to Runway episode's ''Untucked''.
* ProperLady: In the penultimate episode she's called out by the judges that she is just too poised and elegant to the point of being one-note, and seems incapable of allowing herself to seem unpolished hurting her sense of character.
* PunnyName: Brooke Lynn Hytes, or "Brooklyn Heights". Given to her by her drag mother, Farra N. Hyte.
* RankUp: Started out as just another contestant but she thoroughly proved her drag mettle and as such was invited by Ru to host ''Canada's Drag Race'' — a series well-received both in Canada and further afield.
* TheRunnerUpTakesItAll: Downplayed. Yvie did win and get a ton of recognition for her talents, but Brooke got the bigger fame boost and acts as the main judge on ''Canada's Drag Race.''
* StraightToThePointe: See DanceBattler.
* TheStoic: In comparison to the other big personalities and wacky drag styles this season, Brooke is probably the most poised and reserved, coming off as a high fashion ballerina. This bites her in the padded ass come the second-to-last episode in which she is nearly eliminated for not 'putting the stank on it' (as Ross puts it) in the final challenge.
* WorthyOpponent: After her famous double-shantay lipsync against Yvie, Brooke admits in Untucked that Yvie was the one person she was scared to lipsync against, since she brings "a whole different set of skills" than she does.

!Yvie Oddly [-(winner)-]

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yvie.png]]

->'''Age''': 24
->'''From''': Denver, Colorado

->"Move over, ladies, this race just took an odd turn."

----
* AmbiguousGender: She's part of the long tradition of genderfuck drag.
* BrutalHonesty: Yvie isn't necessarily a mean person, but she will not hold back when she feels someone is being rude or making excuses, and will call them out for it. This has earned her quite a few death glares in the competition from queens who don't like being singled out. ''Especially'' Silky "NeverMyFault" Ganache - their rivalry creates a tense atmosphere in the workroom for many episodes.
** PoorCommunicationKills: As Scarlet pointed out in a previous episode, Yvie has the tendency to give accurate criticisms at terrible times, which in turn come off as abrasive and argumentative such as the exchange between Ra'jah and Yvie on episode five. Happens again episode eight when Yvie calls Vanjie's wardrobe basic in front of everyone, instead of pulling her aside to tell her in private, making the latter hugely defensive and embarrassed. And then ''again'' in episode ten when trying to explain how her and her teammates work different, in that she prefers a script and structure as opposed to them who prefer improv, she instead makes it sound like she was claiming she was the only one who did any work in the group, upsetting the group leader (again, Vanjie).
* ChewingTheScenery: Shows herself fully capable of this in "Good God Girl, Get Out!" in the second episode. It's thanks to this and her chemistry with Scarlet that she nets her only main challenge win.
* CloudCuckoolander: As her name indicates, Yvie prides herself on this being a core component of her aesthetic.
* CursedWithAwesome: Among other less pleasant and slowly worsening symptoms, her disease also gives her great flexibility, which she incorporates in her unique drag acts.
* DanceBattler: Comes out guns ablaze in her lipsync against Brooke Lynn. ''Both'' times.
* DarkhorseVictory: [[ZigZaggingTrope Zig-Zagged]]. On the one hand, much like Peppermint in season 9 and Kameron in season 10, Yvie had the fewest wins of the final four, with only one win to Brooke's three and A'keria and Silky's two - and it was a shared win with Scarlet, at that. However, she had a string of placements in the top three for the season, narrowly missing the win more than once, and while no winner was named for the "Queens Everywhere" challenge, many fans think she also deserved an official nod for it. Moreover, Yvie was not, unlike Peppermint and Kameron, the queen in the top four with the most bottom two placements, tying with Silky for only one bottom placement against Brooke and A'keria's two each. Still, Yvie reaches the top 2 and goes on to win the whole season, but whether she counts as a darkhorse is up for debate.
* {{Determinator}}: That's Yvie all over. Not even the painful effects of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome stops this queen. Dance challenges? She'll openly refuse to let the instructors baby her, and put her flexible body through hell because TheShowMustGoOn. Rolling her ankle? Whatever, she'll work her injury into a distinctive runway look. Yvie may have only won a single challenge, but it's hard to argue that she worked her ass off for that final victory.
* EvilLaugh: Her ''normal'' laugh sounds like this. When she [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6NLdrTIaaA finds out that she's the winner of Season 11]], she starts laughing uncontrollably in a way that's simultaneously endearing and terrifying.
* FollowTheLeader: Inverted. The last few seasons have seen an exponential increase in wig and wardrobe reveals during lip syncs, the bigger the reveal the greater the success. Come the finale, Yvie is the only finalist NOT to do a reveal for either lip sync[[note]]unless you count her flashing underwear with Free [[Music/BritneySpears Britney]] on them[[/note]] and she wins the the crown!
* FullFrontalAssault: No qualms are made by production about drawing attention to her painting her entire body pink in the Werk Room for the third episode runway. Complete with CallBack to Alaska's moment in Season 5.
* HandicappedBadass: Rolls her ankle in Episode 6's Draglympics challenge. Being wary of the show's history with bodily injury (ie. Season 9's infamous cheerleading challenge), she tries to balance taking care of herself against showing that she's still capable of staying in the race. To that end, she constructs her Episode 6 runway look around her cane.
* InSeriesNickname: "Spooky Dookie", courtesy of Silky.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite her BrutalHonesty, she still shows reason. She's the first one to offer support and a hug to Mercedes when she reveals her troubled backstory, and after the drama-tastic Episode 7 Untucked she offers apologies to Vanjie and Silky for her insensitive remarks.
* LackOfEmpathy: Downplayed. As mentioned above, she is not scared of being judged for stripping in public. However, it became bothering for the other queens when she only viewed the logical aspect of their problems, and outright ignored their emotions.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: Takes this as justification as to why she didn't just give her infamous BrutalHonesty to the other queens aside and in private, exasperatingly stating they were on a reality TV show and were expected to say these things for the audience.
* MultiBoobage: Her best drag runway has three eyes, three fingers on each hand and three boobs.
* MustMakeAmends: At one point Yvie tries to make peace with Silky, but by that point Silky is still hurt over Yvie's comments and gives her the SilentTreatment. Luckily, Vanjie is not Silky, and in that same episode she's more than happy to settle her own rivalry with Yvie.
* NinjaPirateZombieRobot: This is Yvie's style, she likes to mix styles that normally might not mix and give something unexpected every time.
** For the Zodiac runway in episode 2, she dresses as an undead cyborg lion.
** For the Orange Alert runway, she dressed up as a citrus circus clown.
* ThePigpen: While not obvious on the show, it was mentioned in the Reunion Yvie had some body odor issues that ticked off some of her competitors, especially Ra'Jah. Yvie has taken this on the chin though, for said Reunion she dressed up in a fabulous bathrobe like she's freshly showered, and has even said in interviews that one thing she learned from being on the show is to ''always'' make sure you wear deodorant.
* TheRival: Her beef with Silky Nutmeg Ganache eats up a lot of this season, until Silky finally makes amends with her near the end. By the time of the [[https://youtu.be/j6NLdrTIaaA?t=11 reaction video to Yvie's win,]] you'd never know they were even fighting.
* SignatureLaugh: It's very throaty and gruff, and her fans love it. Kinda sounds a bit like Creator/SethRogen, actually.
* TechnicianVersusPerformer: As discovered when she had to work with a team consisting of Vanjie, A'Keria, and Silky (whom all enjoy doing improv), Yvie does not work well off the cuff and prefers a script and rehearsed choreography.
* VisualPun: Since her brand is being "odd", her episode 12 best drag runway has her eyes, fingers and boobs in [[RuleOfThree sets of three]], which is an ''odd'' number.
* WhatTheHellHero: In episode 2, she calls the rival team out when no one except Ariel admits having talked behind Silky's back. And then again in episode 3 when she calls out Silky for her sour grapes over the group not choosing the diva she wanted.
