46	* EldritchAbomination: Moreso than any other Supergod, as it wasn't even hypothetically of human origin outside of the humans inside it. Physically it's a three-faced giant composed of the bodies of a trio of unfortunate astronauts fused with a mass of alien mushrooms. Mentally it's an entity beyond human comprehension whose mere presence warps the human mind.
47	* FesteringFungus: Infiltrates basically anything so long as there aren't defenses against fungal influence. This includes [[OrganAutonomy commandeering people's organs]] or [[spoiler:taking over entire continents by sporulation]].
48	* GettingSmiliesPaintedOnYourSoul: One of the creepiest aspects of Morrigan Lugus. In spite of being a huge fungal abomination, its presence biochemically forces human brains into a state of religious and sexual ecstasy, making the humans kneel before it in prayer and masturbation. Oh, and the same spores that have this effect on the brain also destroy the lungs – the first groups of scientists studying Morrigan Lugus died when their lungs literally started talking to them.
49	* HiveMind: Reddin has the (probably foolish) hope that Morrigan Lugus absorbs mental aspects of the (now billions of) people it grows on. However, judging from its TheReasonYouSuckSpeech listed in the quotes page of this comic, that is highly unlikely.
50	* IKnowYouAreInThereSomewhereFight: Subverted; Reddin thinks that the original consciousness of the astronauts is still within Morrigan Lugus, and so when it comes down to it they will protect their country. [[spoiler:At the end of the series, he comes to the conclusion that they might want revenge instead on the people who used them ForScience.]]
51	* MagicMushroom: Lugus is a massive humanoid covered in thousands of alien mushrooms that compels everyone around it to worship it. Before the scientists studying it began taking anti-fungal medications, several of them died because it began to spawn ''hundreds of fungal growths shaped like human heads inside their bodies''.
52	* MushroomMan: Morrigan Lugus is a very nightmarish example, a three-faced giant formed from the bodies of three astronauts and a mass of alien mushrooms. The mushrooms are the driving intelligence of the entity acting as a fungal supercomputer. [[spoiler:Everything that happens in the series, culminating in the deaths of every living thing on Earth, was planned by Morrigan Lugus (its appearance is basically what kicked off the disastrous superhuman arms race). All so that its spores would have plenty of raw dead material.]]
53	* OrganicTechnology: It is identified by the narrator to possibly be a mycological computer on a meat substrate, essentially a fungal computer. To wit, when not deciding to use sound to speak, it sometimes would communicate by emitting radio signals, and other times would "eject spores, a 4-phosphorylated indole full of digital code".
54	* ParasitesAreEvil: A mass of sentient parasitic fungi, Morrigan Lugus is the most malevolent of the gods appearing in this story. Along with his power to infest anyone in breathing range and make them worship it until they die of fungal growths in their lungs, Lugus actually gets a speech in which he gloats over the weaknesses of humanity, decrying its worthlessness for still obsessing over gods.
55	* {{Revenge}}: [[spoiler:Reddin posits that Morrigan Lugus' cold attitude towards humans comes from the astronauts, fully aware of the way the British government betrayed them, and desiring to smite the species that destroyed them for the sake of a science experiment.]]
56	* SpaceIsMagic: Part of Morrigan Lugus' origin involves three astronauts with minimal radiation shielding encountering a mysterious space-born fungus.

Morrigan Lugus is initially presented as the only supergod who is, if not "good," then at least not [[BewareTheSuperman a threat to the world at large.]] All it does is sit on a chair and let itself be worshiped by a mere handful of scientists, and Reddin says that the idea of sending it into battle seemed sacreligious. When it does get put to use, it's to negotiate a peace treaty with the other supergods instead of attacking them, seeming to further cement its status as the nice one. [[spoiler: It may in fact be the most evil and dangerous supergod of all.]]

He's also the only one who recognizes that fighting Krishna will only cause massive civilian casualties and should be avoided at all costs.
