[[caption-width-right:745:Wolverine and Gambit get ready to '''cut the deck'''!]]

The show near-perfectly recreates the original 90s intro while making some extra additions, with the inclusion of Morph and Bishop. It really hits the nostalgia in all the right places.

* Gambit riding on Wolverine's back and supercharging his claws.
* At the end of the trailer, Cyclops utters four iconic words that would make Charles proud:
-->'''Cyclops:''' To me, my X-Men!\
''[Cue Storm, Rogue, Gambit, Wolverine, Beast, Bishop, and Morph all gathering behind their esteemed leader as the '97 music swells.]''

[[folder:To Me, My X-Men]]
* Storm and Bishop come to rescue Roberto De Costa (who has been captured by the Friends of Humanity) and easily overpower them. It's only a stray shot that blows up a machine near them that gets the two subdued.
** For Storm herself, the Friends of Humanity get spooked by the air suddenly chilling, the sound of thunder, and the wind blowing hard outside. They know what they’re about to be in for and ''immediately'' start arming themselves for a fight.
* And then Cyclops bursts in and reminds us why Charles made him the field leader of the X-Men, kicking the asses of the racist mooks using a combination of both his powers and good hand-to-hand combat. In particular, he uses his optic blasts to move around the room in unexpected ways, showing a creative use of his powers that isn't often seen, especially in adaptations. Like ''parrying'' one of the Friends' kicks with a blast before shooting him some more.
** When the Friends of Humanity manage to tie him up, one of them foolishly thinks removing Scott's visor will keep him from firing his optic blast:
--->'''Cyclops:''' (''panickedly'') ''Wait, no. I surrender!'' [''beat''] Heh... [[CallBack Not!]]\
[''cue Scott opening his eyes with a huge grin as he unleashes a blast that lays out the rest of the members'']
* Later on, a Sentinel attacks the Blackbird and grabs Cyclops. That Sentinel is immediately destroyed by his optic blasts. As the rest of the field team descends, with some needing help getting down safely, Cyclops just uses his optic blast to slow himself down in a ''beautiful'' shot.
** And it should be noted Scott was never worried about his own safety and was more concerned with the other non flyers. Once he knows they are safe, only then does he slow himself down. AFatherToHisMen Cyclops is.
** [[NervesOfSteel The fact that not a single member of the team screams or panics even though they're in freefall]]. They all trust each other and their powers enough to rectify the situation until they're all safely on the ground.
* The fight against Master Mold. Complete with the theme song playing.
** Rogue starts off by tossing a bisected Sentinel coming after her into another Sentinel, before bringing ''that'' one down with a ''[[WrestlerInAllOfUs Bulldog]]'', and chucking its severed head at another Sentinel:
--->'''Rogue:''' ''[[{{Pun}} Heads up!]]''
** Beast [[SuperStrength flips a Sentinel on its back]], dives in its chassis and hacks it to take control:
--->'''Beast:''' [[Film/{{Casablanca}} Louis, I think this is the start of a beautiful, involuntary friendship.]]
** Storm demolishing a pack of Sentinels by creating a ''glass tornado'' in the Saharan Desert. The lead-up to Storm's arrival at the fight immediately establishes her power in a way that most adaptations have [[AdaptationalWimp never truly been able to manage]]:
--->'''Cyclops:''' (''into his communicator'') ''Give 'em the forecast''.\
'''Sentinels:''' [[PersonOfMassDestruction Omega-level threat]] detected.\
''(lightning strikes the ground turning the sand to glass as Storm's feet walk across the dunes.'')\
'''Storm:''' Ancient sands, heed my command and reclaim these relics of hatred!
*** This moment was being made even more awesome by the fact the BGM switches from the hyped up theme to a quiet piano solo, then joined by a chorus as the tornado comes to life, establishing why Storm was once worshipped as a ''Goddess''.
** Gambit, Morph, and Wolverine team up to take out Master Mold, through Gambit supercharging Wolverine's claws and Morph turning into the Blob to launch Wolverine through Master Mold's neck, decapitating it and ending the battle. The impact also syncs with the ending of the X-Men Theme.

[[folder:Mutant Liberation Begins]]
* The opening sequence adds Magneto to the line-up.
* When the UN arrive to arrest Magneto, Dr Valerie Cooper warns Magneto to think twice before starting a fight, as the guns held by the UN troops are resistant to his magnetic abilities. Only for Magneto to control the helicopters they arrived on and Cooper having to resort to asking him nicely for him to come with them for a fair trial at the UN headquarters (to which he does).
* Storm is giving out commands to the UN security like a boss, but then one of the Judges asks who is she to bark orders to anyone. She promptly tells him to shut up, do what she says and everyone will be ok.
-->'''Storm:''' Do not think. Be silent. Heed my commands and you shall survive.
* When Cyclops is overwhelmed by the X-Cutioner, Morph jumps in, first as Lady Deathstrike by slashing at his back, then turning to Colossus to block some of his attacks, then countering as Psylocke. We’d seen some of their skills last episode, but this episode proved they had TakenALevelInBadass.
* After seeing Storm be {{Depower}}ed by the X-cutioner's weapon, Magneto uses his powers to juggle X-Cutioner into the ground and slam him against a metal seal from the walls of the courtroom. His monologue before using his powers is spine-chilling:
-->'''Magneto:''' This is your dream. My kind splayed before you, powerless and afraid. All the X-Men have done is use their awesome power to protect a world that [[ArcWords hates and fears them.]] Behold their reward. (''gestures to Storm'') What must we do to be good enough? Is this the high road's destination? If so, I say as I have too many times before, ''never again''.
** He then lifts the seal, and the entire panel of judges, out of the building and up into atmosphere. Once he's reached altitude he dangles them all over the Earth and makes it clear that he could easily let go and send them all plummeting to their deaths: but this time he ''won't'', because he intends to honor Charles' dream of peace:
--->'''Magneto:''' Bigot, ingrate, sycophant, worm. So small I could smite you with a step. (''he holds his boot over the X-Cutioner's face'') There was a time I would smite you all for what was done to Storm. (''pulls his foot back'') But today, I have saved you from your own, for an old friend has challenged me to remember this view of Earth. How vast it is versus how small we make it. Charles Xavier entrusted me with his dream, and it does not ask you to love or embrace my kind as your own, but merely to accept that this is a shared world with a common future, and that my kind, like yours, have the right to live in it. I am trying to be ''better''. Please...[[DontMakeMeDestroyYou do not make me let you down]]...
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fire Made Flesh]]
* Bishop saving Beast from falling into a lava pit by tossing Wolverine at him. With one hand.
* Cyclops uses his EyeBeams to supercharge Bishop, who unleashes two powerful bursts of energy to eliminate the demons surrounding them:
-->'''Bishop:''' ''[[PreAssKickingOneLiner Time for an exorcism, punks!]]''
* The original Jean saving the X-Men and lifting them (literally via uplifting the ground beneath them) from their psychic hellscape.
* The battle between Magneto and the Goblin Queen is visually stunning; Magneto shatters the windows of the church they're fighting in, but the Goblin Queen casually dodges his magnetic blasts and metal projectiles. Then she reminds him that her power isn't limited to metal like his and overwhelms him with a FlechetteStorm of glass shards before sending him into the ground:
-->'''Goblin Queen:''' I applaud [[DoubleEntendre your magnetism, but my telekinetic charm]] extends beyond mere metal.
* The psychic battle between Jean and the Goblin Queen, ending with the Queen being freed of Sinister's control thanks to her love for her son.
** Back in the series premiere, Madelyne needed a boost from Cerebro to remotely access Gyrich's mind. Jean is able to reach Madelyne remotely with no assistance, despite still being physically weakened from her ordeal with Sinister:
--->'''Jean:''' Beast, please. My body won't be an issue.
* Although Sinister escapes, the bastard gets a few blasts from Cyclops and Madelyne for his trouble.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Montendo/Lifedeath Pt. 1]]
* Real thing or not, Jubilee defeating Mojoverse's simulated Magneto. Using the fact that he’s a video game boss with attack cycles to find an opening, she blinds him and takes him out with a plasma-infused punch.
* Jubilee teaming up with her simulated future counterpart AKA Abcissa in order to take down Mojo and escape the Mojoverse with Roberto. They take Mojo out by combining their powers and throwing their own dazzling version of the Spirit Bomb at him.
* Abcissa displays better control of her powers than her present self; using her powers to skate across the ground and create sparkling, DeadlyDisc[=s=] ala [[Franchise/DragonBall Krillin's Destructo Disc/Kienzan]] to slice off Mojo’s legs.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Remember It]]
* Jean privately searches through her memories at a lake in [[StrongAndSkilled an awesome display of her telekinetic power and concentration]]; simultaneously uplifting the water surrounding her, levitating orbs of water containing images of her past adventures with the team, talking to Logan, and giving him a lift with a plane of water beneath his feet to reach her. She does all this with no visible effort at all.
* Nightcrawler saving Gambit and Rogue from the Tri-Sentinel's energy beam.
* Gambit and Rogue on their way to save the Morlocks while fighting through the Sentinels, with Gambit keeping up with [[FlyingBrick Rogue]] on [[BadassBiker a motorcycle]]. Special mention to him decapitating two Sentinels while doing a midair twist.
* Magneto's stand against the Tri-Sentinel. He manages to draw its fire away from the populace to give them a chance to evacuate.
** Doubles as Tearjerker, but his retaliation when innocents are crushed under the statue of Charles Xavier is as epic as it is tragic. With tear-stained eyes, he launches an entire train right into the sentinel's head(s) and goes fully on the offensive:
--->'''Magneto:''' THEY SHALL BE AVENGED!!
** Also worth mentioning that he uses that train like a giant ''whip''.
* In his last moments, Magneto uses his powers to shield and keep Rogue and Gambit back from Tri-Sentinel's beam, while also creating a shield for himself, Leech and the surrounding mutants. The level of concentration and effort must have been incredible.
* Gambit managing to destroy the Tri-Sentinel using the cable it used to ''impale him'', charging the ''whole, massive'' robot with kinetic energy starting from the cable's contact in his wound. It [[HeroicSacrifice cost him his life]], but [[DavidVsGoliath he did what other, more powerful mutants couldn't]] and saved every remaining life on Genosha:
-->'''Tri-Sentinel:''' [[AC:Mutant Intruder Neutralized.]]\
'''Gambit:''' (''Smirking'') [[DefiantToTheEnd The name's Gambit, mon ami]].... [[TitleDrop Remember it.]]
** Before heading towards the Tri-Sentinel, Gambit charges his motorbike with kinetic energy and then throws it at Rogue to push her out of the way of the Tri-Sentinel beam, and misses the disintegration beam by milli-seconds.
** The fact that at the end of the day it wasn't an Omega level mutant like Magneto or a physical powerhouse like Rogue who was able to stop the Tri-Sentinel and save the day. It was Gambit, the Ragin' Cajun [[WeakButSkilled using his wits and quick thinking in conjunction with his powers that finally ended the machine's rampage]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lifedeath Pt. 2]]
* Trapped in a claustrophobic situation with The Adversary bearing down on her and with Forge about to die, Storm realizes that it wasn't just the X-Cutioner's power nullifying gun that was preventing her from using her powers, but her own fear and doubt. Cue a ''massive'' lightning bolt that disintegrates the demon and causes a weather event that can be seen in space. [[HesBack The Mistress of the Elements is back.]] And with her classic black costume!
* [[SuperManSubstitute Gladiator]] easily subdues Deathbird's attempted rebellion with speed, strength, invulnerability, super-breath and laser eyes. To start with, he quickly places himself in front of Xavier and Lilandra to NoSell Deathbird's [[WolverineClaws attack]] on them, and punches her ''hard'' into a wall.
* When Professor X has had enough trying to play by the Shi'ar's rules, he effortlessly dominates everyone on the room with his psychic power and seats them all in a classroom on the astral plane. When Deathbird tries to object, he puts her back in her seat and shoves an apple in her mouth. He then proceeds to give them a very gentle, teacherly [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech dressing down]] about the evils of imperialism; basically their whole culture.
* Fans of Nightcrawler were ''ecstatic'' to see him [[PromotionToOpeningTitles added to the opening credits as a full member of the team]].
* Just the fact that '''Professor Xavier is coming back to Earth''', even if it could hardly be in the wake of worse circumstances.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Bright Eyes]]
* In the wake of Gambit's death, Rogue is going on a rampage to find Henry Peter Gyrich, attacking a US Army base. This includes effortlessly demolishing soldiers and tanks, one of which she takes out with a divekick straight out of ''VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom''.
** Inside the base, General Thunderbolt Ross is confident in the strength of his bunker, saying it's rated to take hits from ComicBook/TheIncredibleHulk. Rogue ''still breaks in.''
*** Credit where it's due, even when face-to-face with a [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge seriously pissed off]] Rogue, Ross [[NervesOfSteel remains completely calm]] and shows absolutely NO sign of fear.
** The scream of agony Gyrich lets out when she uses her powers to drain information from him is both horrifying and immensely satisfying.
* The Prime Sentinel is terrifyingly effective, managing to take out the entire team of X-Men confronting it, easily shrugging off their attacks, and slamming Cyclops' head into the pavement. He then asks mockingly [[TemptingFate how it feels to be abandoned by the future.]] Cue an EMP grenade from Cable frying the thing.
* While looking for survivors, Jean and Scott find Emma Frost buried in the rubble. Her diamond skin abilities manifested, saving her from being crushed. Her one-liner is the cherry on top...
-->"I've always performed well [[VisualPun under pressure]]."
* Jean stopping the upper part of the building (and the falling debris) that Prime Sentinel Trask blew up from dropping into the city streets, and then ''chucking it '''far''' out of the city and into the water.''
* Though ultimately ineffective, Morph further demonstrates the scope of their shapeshifting abilities by turning into Quicksilver and copying his speed.
* While she ultimately loses the fight, Jean finally gets a chance to throw down at full power, briefly matching the Prime Sentinel blow for blow in a near ''Anime/DragonBallZ''-caliber aerial fight.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tolerance Is Extinction Pt. 1]]
* Scott, Jean and Cable [[BadassFamily fighting side by side]] against the Prime Sentinels. First escaping an army of them in the Blackbird, Scott rides them out of it in his Porsche ''just'' before the Bird hits the ground and explodes. Then they ride through a nearby cave (which the Sentinels try to cave in to trap them). Cable shoots the Sentinels as Cyclops blasts his way through the debris. All while Jean takes the wheel with her telekinesis. Scott blasts his way out, the car flies through the hole, and Jean lifts them out and lands, blocking the exploding car behind them.
* Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Morph teaming up against the Prime Sentinels invading the mansion.
-->'''Wolverine''': Fancy a trip to the junkyard, ''tin woman?''
** Wolverine gets jettisoned out of the mansion and into the sky by Prime Sentinel! Tilby. He slices through several Sentinels on his way back down and ''still'' remains conscious after he crashes.
** TAS! Wolverine actually getting to cut people with the censors out of his way, body parts and all, is cathartic. Robotic zombies or not.
** Hell, getting to see Kurt's expert swordsmanship fighting the Prime Sentinels with three swords! And with violin music!
-->'''Sentinel''': Why resist the inevitable?\
'''Wolverine''': Lady, I got ''six'' [[ShutUpHannibal reasons why!]]\
'''Nightcrawler''': (''Cutting a Sentinel down from behind'') No, ''mein freund'': '''[[PrehensileTail Nine!]]'''
** Realizing the Sentinels are putting themselves back together, Nightcrawler skewers them and "bamfs" them out of the room to get them clear of Rogue. This ends with him and Wolverine mutually stabbing a Sentinel from the front and back; leading to Wolverine (and the audience) getting Nightcrawler's POV of whenever he teleports.
* Roberto's full Sunspot form, catching Jubilee out of the air and flying her away from the Sentinels after them.
-->'''Roberto''': I know, I've been practicing in the Danger Room.
* Magneto shows the devastating power of an Omega Level Mutant by flying to an arctic pole after he's freed from Bastion's captivity by Val Cooper, and unleashing a ''worldwide'' EMP that shuts down every Prime Sentinel on the planet. However, as Wolverine puts it, [[ThisMeansWar this is his way of declaring war]].
* As the dust settles at the mansion, Wolverine asks where the Professor is when you need him. [[AndHereHeComesNow Cue Xavier returning to Earth at last in a Shi'ar spaceship.]]
-->'''Xavier:''' [[HesBack I hope I am not too late.]] ''[uses his telepathy to summon the X-Men, including Storm, to action]'' [[AvengersAssemble To me, my X-Men!]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tolerance Is Extinction Pt. 2]]
* Morph transforms into ComicBook/TheIncredibleHulk and does an impressive imitation of the famous Jade Giant by busting up Sentinels while telekinetically used as a bludgeon by Jean.
-->'''Morph''': MORPH SMASH!
* Beast slicing off a Sentinel's arm, and using its severed hand to slap it in the face.
* Before the fight Jean and Storm have an exchange that amounts to a mutual BadassBoast:
-->'''Jean:''' Make them mind your weather, sister.\
'''Storm:''' And them weather your mind.
* If there were any doubts that Jean had [[TookALevelInBadass shed]] her AdaptationalWimp status from the original series, this episode utterly obliterates them. From pulling off a FastballSpecial with Morph-Hulk to handing Sinister his ass in a one-on-one duel, this continuity is finally depicting Jean as the psionic powerhouse comic fans know her to be.
** Sinister taunts Jean with the offer of telling her when her and Maddie were switched. Jean rejects this deal and delivers a [[CatharsisFactor cathartic beatdown]] on the evil scientist.
--->'''Jean''': It doesn't matter. Madelyne fights with me today!
* Magneto is in top form through the entire episode, starting with lifting an entire island from the ocean to rebuild Asteroid M, before proceeding to recruit Rogue and Sunspot to his side and culminating with the X-Men who come for him. He manages to fight off Wolverine for an extended length of time when the latter jumps him from behind, places a gag on Xavier's mouth and gives the professor a blunt ShutUpKirk, placing his anti-telepathic helmet around ''Xavier'''s head so Xavier can't use his powers, and ultimately not only surviving a vicious impalement by Wolverine but turning around and doing exactly what people know [[ComicBook/FatalAttractionsMarvelComics the story being adapted]] for: Using his magnetic powers to ''rip out Wolverine's adamantium skeleton''. Truly, this is the Master of Magnetism at his deadliest.
* Wolverine, whose skeleton is covered with metal, successfully pulls off ''two'' sneak attacks on Magneto. The first has him yanking his helmet off so that Charles can attack him. The other by ''stabbing him'' InTheBack.
-->'''Wolverine''': Been in a lot of wars, bub. ''The brave always die '''first'''.''
* Although it happens while he's brainwashed by Sinister, Cable finally gets to use his PsychicPowers and show that he is a telekinetic on par with Jean and Madelyne.
* Charles' speech to President Kelly in essence telling him to trust the X-Men to do what they do best: protect and save a world that hates and fears them.
-->'''Professor X''': In under an hour civilization as we know it ends. Much like in the past my X-Men and I are your best hope to avoid that future.\
'''President Kelly''': If you're wrong Xavier, my hand will be forced.\
'''Professor X''':We have been here before President Kelly. If you don't trust me, ''trust my X-Men''.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tolerance Is Extinction Pt. 3]]
* Beginning their BattleAtTheCenterOfTheMind, Xavier crawls his way to Magneto and manages to overtake Magneto's willpower, even hijacking his magnetic abilities and rebooting the world's electronics and magnetosphere.
* Sinister and Bastion decide to gloat about their victory by making Cable admit to how many times he traveled to save his mother. [[ShutUpHannibal Cable turns it on Bastion.]]
-->'''Cable''': Two hundred... Two hundred times... (''Smirking'') But how's [[YourMom your mommy]], Sebastian?
* The other heroes of Marvel making their own stand against the reactivated Prime Sentinels.
** ''ComicBook/{{Daredevil}}'', stopping robbers and facing the Prime Sentinels with the help of ComicBook/CloakAndDagger.
** [[WesternAnimation/IronManTheAnimatedSeries TAS! Iron Man is back]] with Captain America at Kelly's cabinet meeting.
** ComicBook/DoctorStrange takes on a more passive role, helping out at the now powerless Manhattan Memorial Hospital by performing surgery with magic.
** The Sentinels arrive in Wakanda, facing the ComicBook/BlackPanther. He cuts ''several'' down at once from behind his window before he and his bodyguards leap at the rest.
** [[EnemyMine Omega Red, Crimson Dynamo, and Darkstar]] also stand against the robots.
* Jean becoming the Phoenix once again and using it to both force a mutant control collar on Bastion's head to return the Prime Sentinels to normal and drain Mister Sinister of the mutant DNA keeping him young, reducing him to a scared, feeble old man in the process.
** As an added bonus, Morph gets the last laugh when Sinister begs them to show him his face, to which Morph responds [[IShallTauntYou by turning into the elderly Sinister and saying he looks the same]], is safe to say that after seeing how weak and pathetic the man has become [[NotAfraidOfYouAnymore Morph is finally free from his influence.]]
* Peter Parker makes another cameo appearance, this time alongside Mary Jane Watson, confirming that [[EarnYourHappyEnding the two finally reunited]] at some point after the GrandFinale of ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManTheAnimatedSeries''.
* Rogue getting revenge for Gambit by giving Bastion a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown into the moon after he arrives on Asteroid M. There is special mention of the headbutt on the way down and a point-blank ThunderClap at the end of it.
-->'''Rogue:''' [[AndThisIsFor His name was Gambit!]] ''[[DynamicEntry Remember it!]]''
* Afterwards, Sunspot joins the fight, now fully asserting himself as a member of the X-Men, by blasting Bastion to make him let go of Rouge.
-->'''Bastion:''' Roberto de Costa, the disowned heir.\
'''Roberto:''' The name's Sunspot! [Lights up and charges two solar balls] It's definitely got more flair!
* Next, Bastion faces Cyclops, Nightcrawler, and Jubilee back on Asteroid M. The latter two use their powers to disorient him and avoid his blasts while Cyclops dodges every one of Bastion's attacks and hits him in the face with a ricochet Optic Blast.
* The BeamOWar between Cyclops and Bastion. Cyclops wins.
-->'''Cyclops:''' [[PapaWolf YOU'LL NEVER HURT MY FAMILY AGAIN!]] (''[[TheGlovesComeOff Increases the Power and blasts Bastion away.]]'')
* Jubilee is the last X-Man on Asteroid M standing against Bastion. He taunts her, thinking she can't do a thing to him. She proves him wrong by [[PunchedAcrossTheRoom blasting him in the face]] and is the first X-Man to do ''visible damage to him that he doesn't recover from.'' He was ''not'' fighting 92's Jubilee.
-->'''Bastion''': What will you do, child? [[WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway Slay me with the 4th of July?]]\
'''Jubliee''': [[NeverHeardThatOneBefore Haven't heard that one before...]] [''Jubilee rushes forward and puts her hand on Bastion's face before firing a plasmoid''] Game over, sleazeoid! [Blows him into a Sentinel head.]
** She also takes a page out of Abcissa's book and slices off Bastion's wings with a plasmoid disc to save Cyclops.
* Beast once again repurposes a Sentinel, and arrives on Asteroid M with Jean, Storm, and Morph... landing on top of Bastion.
-->'''Beast:''' The Greeks did love their horses. And {{Irony}}.
* As Asteroid M falls to Earth, Jubilee gets sucked into space, and Sunspot immediately jumps to save her before the two return to Earth.
* After a YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre speech from Xavier, Magneto reawakens from their shared coma to help the X-Men save Earth from Asteroid M, solidifying his HeelFaceTurn once and for all.
-->'''Magneto:''' '''''[[HesBack MAGNETO LIVES!!!]]''''' [Uses his powers to immediately stop the asteroid and send it back into space harmlessly.]
* [[HeroicSacrifice Though the X-Men have seemingly died saving the world]], Bishop returns to tell Forge that they're NotQuiteDead. The final scene then shows the team split as they're stranded across time, with Cyclops and Jean meeting a younger Nathan in the distant future, while Rogue, Nightcrawler, Beast, Xavier, and Magneto are in ancient Egypt, which can only mean one thing.
-->'''Magneto:''' Do not fear us. What is your name?\
'''Mutant:''' [[WhamLine My name is]] [[Characters/MarvelComicsApocalypse En Sabah Nur]].\
''[Xavier and Beast gaze out at the horizon, where a highly advanced Egyptian city stands before them.]''\
'''Beast:''' [[OhCrap Oh dear.]]
** And sure enough in TheStinger, we return to the present day where Apocalypse arrives and surveys the aftermath of Genosha's destruction.
-->'''Apocalypse:''' So much pain, my children. ''[picks up Gambit's Queen of Hearts card]'' So much... [[HorsemenOfTheApocalypse death.]]
