* "Homeward Hound":
** Scooby-Doo and the six puppies are accidentally thrown into a river. While they're going down the river, Scooby Doo really tries his best to protect the puppies who are flying around everywhere, before they are saved from getting shredded to pieces in a timber mill.
** In the same episode, Scooby goes PapaWolf when the "cat-creature" menaces the puppies and their mother. With a snarl, he actually leaps onto said monster and pushes it onto a serving cart. The rest of the gang takes advantage to crash the cart with a rope, taking the monster down for unmasking. Don't threaten puppies in front of Scooby-Doo.
** Also in the same episode, the BigBad managed to make an evil version of Scooby Doo by '''putting a [[http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/scoobydoo/images/b/bf/Scooby_impostor_%28Homeward_Hound%29.png/revision/latest?cb=20160104153803 small dog in a Great-Dane Costume]], AND making it able react like it's an actual dog (moving its head and mouth convincingly as well).''' If it wasn't for the constant scowl, lack of collar and aggressive behaviour, you'd almost never be able to tell the difference. That "Scooby" you can see from the link is merely a small dog on stilts, you really have to wonder how the hell it was done.
** When the said small dog is unmasked, she tries to scare Scooby off again. But Scooby by this time is impatient after what he and the Secret Six have been through and [[TheDogBitesBack barks fiercely back]], [[PaperTiger scaring the small dog away]].
* "Camp Comeoniwannascareya":
** Alex refusing to be scared by a spider Dennis puts on her shoulder and then casually picking up a snake that scares him.
** Shaggy and Scooby building a Fred-like trap. Which works. With them as live bait. And involves lots of yelling. It works - now, take this into mind; they've been fighting ghosts, monsters, ghouls and god knows what else for so long now... that if they decided to do it on their own, they ''would be more than capable of doing it... and doing it'' '''well.'''
* In ''Farmed and Dangerous'', Fred and the Mystery van get into a game of chicken with a Demon Farmer on a souped up tractor. Fred ''wins''.
* ''[[Recap/WhatsNewScoobyDooS3E8ATerrifyingRoundWithAMenacingMetallicClown A Terrifying Round With a Menacing, Metallic Clown]]'':
** Shaggy leads the Mystery Gang to solve this mystery, in defense of his miniature golf championship. He doesn't do half-bad, and is so brave and - dare I say it - smart leading them, it provokes multiple comments on where has the real Shaggy gone. On top of that, the episode ends with Shaggy claiming the title of 'national putt-putt champion' once more.
** There's also Velma's moment in this episode. She is deathly afraid of clowns because of a traumatic experience, but when a monster robot clown seemingly eats Shaggy? [[ThePowerOfFriendship She bashes its legs with a nine-iron because]] '''[[ThePowerOfFriendship no]]''' [[ThePowerOfFriendship giant clown hurts her friends!]] Considering that this is after the usual plan to trap the monster failed and just two whacks downed a robot over ''twice her size'', it shows that an angry Velma is a lot more capable than she thinks she is.
* Freddy's plan to catch the dragon in "[[Recap/WhatsNewScoobyDooS3E10BlockLongHongKongTerror Block Long Hong Kong Terror]]" is "to fight dragon with duck". Meaning that they turn Shaggy's deflated rubber ducky Duck Guy into a legitimate Mecha to fight against the dragon monster. Not only do they put up a good fight, but Shaggy and Scooby save the day with some unintentional fireworks.
* "It's All Greek to Scooby":
** Daphne manages to make costumes for the Gang as part of Fred's plan. These consist of Fred as the Minotaur, Daphne as a Gorgon, Velma as the Hydra, Shaggy as a Cyclops, and Scooby as Cerberus. And these costumes are actually pretty good!
** Not to mention this time the plan works perfectly, scaring the centaur who has been serving as the villain into a wall. Yep, this time one of Fred’s plans worked and wasn’t ruined by Scooby and Shaggy!
* The return of [[EnsembleDarkhorse the Hex Girls]] in ''The Vampire Strikes Back''. Not to mention they actually get to cover the theme song.
* "[[Recap/WhatsNewScoobyDooS3E1FrightHouseOfALighthouse Fright House of a Lighthouse]]":
** Fred, Daphne, and Velma are on a ghost ship that is about to crash into rocks on Lake Michigan. Shaggy and Scooby try to turn on the lighthouse to guide them (with Scooby leading the way), but the ghost of a lighthouse keeper prevents them. Then Shaggy comes up with a great idea -- use the lighthouse’s foghorn (which Scooby accidentally swallowed) to guide the rest of the gang to safety. It was quick and awesome thinking of Shaggy and Scooby to save the others in that way.
** The Creepy Keeper closes in on Scooby, only to be lassoed by Fred, who was hiding nearby. When he keeps trying to pull Scooby towards the edge of the lighthouse, Shaggy [[BlindedByTheLight stuns him with the light]]. He tumbles down the trapdoor and the gang pulls off the mask with no further trouble.
* In "[[Recap/WhatsNewScoobyDooS2E4TheFastAndTheWormious The Fast and Wormious]]":
** Daphne jump-starts the Mystery Machine using a battery, a bottle of water and a pin from her purse, showing she's not just a pretty face. Velma even compliments her on it.
** Roberto Torres scattering the worm-worshiping {{Cult}} by jumping into their midst with his motorcycle ''using the giant worm monster as a ramp'', allowing the gang to escape.
** Also how Fred defeats the Worm monster. Driving straight at it, using a natural rock formation as a ramp and [[OffWithHisHead using the Mystery Machine to decapitate it.]]
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: While the original series had some great original chase music, this one used existing song from bands like Music/RelientK, Music/SimplePlan, Music/TheRamones and Music/{{KISS}} to great effect.
* Velma lassoing the dragon's tail in ''A Large Dragon at Large" and tying the other end to the door of the cell she's trapped in to rip it out.
* "Simple Plan and an Invisible Madman":
** The Invisible Madman attacks Fred in the woods. Scooby watches in horror, then attacks the Madman and fends him off. Then, Scooby drags an unconscious Fred for miles until reaching civilization.
** That same episode also has quite a bit of clever methods of making the invisible man visible an vulnerable during the chase scene (Fred kicking him back into a barrel of molasses while being tied up, one of the band members sticking his leg into the snow to knock snow up during the sled chase etc.)
** The Invisible Madman has Fred tied up and comically uses him like a human yoyo. Fred, in response, '''kicks him clear across the room.'''
* The LeParkour of the corporate spies in ''Recipe for Disaster''.
* In "Safari So Goodi," Daphne is being chased by a herd of demon animals, grabs onto a tree branch, swings herself up, and then stands on her hands like a gymnast until the animals pass under her. She then does a FistPump, grabs a vine, and swings off to rescue a cornered Velma.
* "[[Recap/WhatsNewScoobyDooS1E14TheUnnatural The Unnatural]]":
** The spectre undoes the bolts on the bleachers, causing them to collapse as the gang runs to keep ahead of them. When the dust clears, the entire gang is hanging onto Fred as he clings to the boardwalk.
** Cornered by the spectre, Scooby tries to jump from one side of a retracting roof to the other. He falls short and plummets toward the stadium floor. In seconds, Fred secures himself with a rope and dives after him, saving Scooby and even almost catching the specter.
* "[[Recap/WhatsNewScoobyDooS1E13PompeiiAndCircumstance Pompeii and Circumstance]]": When the zombie gladiator comes after the disguised Shaggy as he's demanding answers from one of the other perps, Fred jumps him, knocking him out. Even if it [[NotQuiteTheRightThing caused trouble thanks to the gladiator being the mechanical mastermind]], it was pretty impressive.
* The end of "Diamonds are a Ghoul's Best Friend" reveals that the culprit has spent the episode performing impressive ice-skating and rollerblading feats while wearing stilts.
* "A Scooby-Doo! Christmas" has plenty of awesome moments in the chase scene. Fred, Daphne, and Velma pelt the Headless Snowman with snowballs hard enough to make him retreat. Shaggy and Scooby shovel all of the snow off a rooftop to briefly bury the Headless Snowman, and briefly knock off his head and use it as a hockey puck.
* "[[Recap/WhatsNewScoobyDooS3E2GoWestYoungScoob Go West Young Scoob]]":
** When a pair of robbers stops the train and demands everyone's valuables, Fred takes both of them down within seconds ([[YouJustRuinedTheShot though it turns out the robbery was supposed to be part of the wild west weekend]]).
** After the stagecoach crash, Cold Steel finds the gang as they try to climb out of the canyon. Scooby's terrified yelping buries him in an avalanche of rock, but that still isn't enough to stop him. What does? Fred kicks his head off with a single blow. It even impressed Daphne.
* "[[Recap/WhatsNewScoobyDooS2E2MummyScaresBest Mummy Scares Best]]": When Fred, Daphne, and Velma are zombified, Shaggy recognizes that he and Scooby will need to do something besides being {{Lovable Coward}}s. The two remain calm and walk around the pyramid, exploring like actual sleuths, until their friends can take over again.
* "Uncle Scooby and Antarctica":
** When the Gilled Ghoul attacks them again, Fred ''kicks'' him back into the water.
** When Scooby is pulled into the water by the monster, his penguin friend Little Pete saves him from drowning and/or freezing to death by pushing him back up to the hole he fell in through. Mere seconds later, when the monster grabs Little Pete, Scooby holds his breath and dives back in to snatch him right out of his claws.
*** To put this into perspective on Scooby's end: when he first fell in, he sank like a rock and couldn't swim back up no matter how hard he tried, and was half-drowned by the time Little Pete got to him. When he dives back in to save Little Pete, he swims like a champ through freezing Antarctic waters, pulls the penguin out of the Ghoul's hand with one yank, then rams a new hole in the ice for air rather that use the already open one the gang is around. How's that for ThePowerOfFriendship?
* One that is rather underrated. At the end of "[[Recap/WhatsNewScoobyDooS1E3SpaceApeAtTheCape Space Ape at the Cape]]", the trap isn’t working since the alien is going after Velma instead of falling into the trap so what does Scooby do? Use his carton of milk (That he and Shaggy were bribed with to lure the alien in the first place) to blind the alien making both him and Scooby to fall into the trap.
* "Large Dragon at Large":
