* A lot of the situation finishers can be this, depending on who you use them on. Throwing DIO into the sunlight? Knocking Kira into his desk and disturbing the book that reveals his evil agenda -- or launching him into the alley where he's dragged off to the afterlife? All of them are possible; all of them are badass.
* The fact that, if the player manages to pull it off, Kosaku!Kira can revert Pucci's Made In Heaven mode and C-Moon stand back to Whitesnake (Bonus Points if Whitesnake locks Kosaku's command moves), Giorno's Golden Experience Requiem back to Golden Experience, and nullify Kars's UltimateLifeForm Mode using Bites the Dust.
** And on that note, the fact that Golden Experience Requiem can revert all stand transformations and their effects, meaning Giorno can single-handedly defeat Pucci at his strongest.
* The game is being released in the West, finally avoiding JJBA's long-standing problem with NoExportForYou.
** Even with the above example, the game was fairly obscure due to its exclusivity on the [=PS3=], but with the release of All-Star Battle R, the game is now on a wider variety of accessible platforms, and at 60 FPS, too!(barring the Nintendo Switch release.)
** While name changes are to be expected from this to avoid copyright complications, several screenshots and a press release show that amazingly, Funny Valentine, the most blatant, managed to keep his name intact.
*** If you think about it, not dubbing the game's soundtrack is a stealth one - sure, they had to rename Stands into things like "Zipper Man" or "Li'l Bomber"... but you still hear them say "Sticky Fingers!" or "Aerosmith!" [=CyberConnect2=]: giving copyright law the finger.
*** With the release of All-Star Battle R, a lot of previously altered names that were allowed in the anime but changed in the original game as well as Eyes of Heaven are finally intact. No more "Jean Pierre Eiffel" or "Animal Shop" here!
* Rush Mode involves two characters, normally Stand users, pummeling each other for massive damage, akin to the franchise's tradition. Except that it also involves Jonathan, who isn't a Stand user, and can go toe to toe not only with the likes of Star Platinum and The World but also Polnareff's Silver Chariot, Narancia's Aerosmith and Guido Mista's Sex Pistols.
** On the subject of Jonathan, his GHA is the reenactment of his "Sunlight Yellow Overdrive" scene. Complete with BadassBoast and a RapidFireFisticuffs finisher that sends his opponent flying.
* Since Baoh can't talk beyond his Kiai war cry of "Baru!", the narrator describes his actions and calls his attacks. When Baoh does his GHA, the narrator's voice echoes:
-->Narrator: "Baoh: Break Dark Thunder Phenomenon!!"
* Funny Valentine's Love Train can be torn apart (Johnny's Super Spin) and bypassed (Gyro's Ball Breaker). Kira has two ways to let his projectiles through. Sick Sheer Heart Attack, counting as part of Killer Queen. And using Bite The Dust, entering Valentine's retina, bypassing the barrier completely. Hol Horse also uses the retina stunt via the Hanged Man, distracting Valentine long enough for a opening with the Emperor. The most awesome example is Mista's, where the only thing that allows Sex Pistols's bullets to break through Love Train is via raw sheer force.
* The announcement of the sequel, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven, along with the introduction of two new playable characters: Part 7's Diego Brando, who can use the Stand Scary Monsters to create dinosaurs (or turn into one, himself); and Part 2's Rudolf von Stroheim, a LargeHam German cyborg outfitted with crazy awesome weapons!
** What may be more awesome than the announcement of the game itself is the announcement that the character who may have been the single most requested character for All-Star Battle, none other than Robert Edward O. Speedwagon himself!
** All-Star Battle R not only includes the original game's DLC lineup and characters who debuted in Eyes of Heaven like Speedwagon and Diego Brando from the get go, but even some new faces not featured in either game, including the heavily requested Foo Fighters, among other awesome additions like Proscuitto and Pesci and Ghiaccio.
*** Furthermore, there's still more DLC to boot, and the first character announced is another highly requested fighter, Risotto Nero!
* All-Star Battle R has every character (with the exception of Baoh and the Steel Ball Run and [=JoJolion=] cast) voiced by their anime voice talents, including the late Unshō Ishizuka's voice from Eyes of Heaven being repurposed for Old Joseph Joestar, immortalizing and honoring his legendary performance as everyone's favorite grandpa.
** Similarly, the late Keiji Fujiwara's voice recordings for Esidisi have been preserved from the original game and Eyes of Heaven.
* While this delves into cut content, it's nice to know that the developers removed the Kennedy Space Center stage from the original All-Star Battle and repurposed Enrico Pucci's moveset to remove all traces and references to C-Moon for the sake of players who may not have read Stone Ocean and are only following the animated adaptation. However, original All-Star Battle fans can rest assured that Pucci's original moveset will be available as free DLC later down the line.
* Proscuitto and Pesci's GHA might take the cake for one of the coolest supers in the game for not just being a pretty badass MythologyGag, but a great showing of how much La Squadra means business. Prosciutto calls for Pesci to hook the opponent, tangling them up in a web of Beach Boy's rod, followed by the opponent being punched to the ground by The Grateful Dead, and ending with Prosciutto slowly reloading Mista's gun before firing three shots straight into the opponent's forehead.
* Ghiaccio's GHA is both this and incredibly funny, as he freezes the opponent solid and then proceeds to do his iconic Venezia rant.
* The reveal of Abbacchio being the Golden Wind rep of the Season 2 DLC pass, which in addition to finally having completing the playable appearance of Bruno Bucciarati's team, inherently signals that the developers finally figured out how to make Moody Blues work in a fighting game.He was scrapped from Eyes of Heaven late into development because they were unable to.
* How the developers managed to make Wonder of U work in a fighting game. His moveset is based around two things: ranged keepaway with teleports and projectiles (Obladi Oblada and Do Do Do De Da Da Da), and Counter Attacks. In other words, baiting his opponent into approaching him and attacking, and then punishing them for doing so.
