* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vV8p4fCOzhw His performance at Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show]]. In a game that saw [[CurbStompBattle the Seattle Seahawks pull an absolute rout over the Denver Broncos]], many cited the singer's performance as the highlight of the night. Special credit goes to his surprisingly great drumming at the beginning... and his kickass Music/JamesBrown-like [[http://mtv.tumblr.com/post/75433279392/woah-bruno-woah dancing.]] (6:53 in the video)
** He and Music/{{Beyonce}} popped up at Super Bowl 50 as Music/{{Coldplay}}'s special guests and closing the show with "Uptown Funk", even outshining Chris Martin.
* "Treasure", a love letter to disco[=/=]post-disco acts of the 70s and 80s. Along with [[Music/DaftPunk "Get Lucky"]], it was responsible for a disco revival in the 2010s.
* "Uptown Funk", which [[http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6509668/mark-ronson-bruno-mars-hot-100-12th-week set or matched a ton of records]] on its way to the top of ''Billboard''[='=]s main chart where it stayed for 14 weeks straight. It also spent the entire chart year in the Top 40, which is a very rare feat.
** And a minor one, but on the 12/19/15 week, the song was forced off the charts thanks to the 52 week/below #25 recurring rule that Billboard introduced at the very beginning of the 2016 chart year...and yet, after the Grammys, [[http://www.billboard.com/charts/hot-100/2016-03-05 the song returned to the chart on the 3/5/16 week at #22]]. Very impractical that any song would return that high after a long time, let alone one that had just lasted a full chart year. But it did, alright, and even if it was only for one week, it's still definitely worth a mention.
** It's now [[http://www.vulture.com/2016/10/uptown-funk-is-officially-diamond-certified.html one of the few songs]] ever to be certified ''diamond'' by the RIAA for selling over 11 million units.
