Context Analysis / TeleportationSickness

Go To

1In a way, it would be hugely strange if one ''didn't'' suffer some unpleasant physical symptoms due to teleportation, especially as a result of different climate conditions. Ever take a plane from San Antonio to San Francisco in August and experience the 30 degree temperature change? Or just take a plane in general and enjoy that uncomfortable feeling of the air pressure differential making your ears desperately need to pop? Imagine if you got teleported between two places where you experienced such a change in pressure or temperature ''immediately''. Do burst eardrums or decompression sickness sound like a fun time? That's ignoring any inertia concerns too, if you were transported from a location in motion (a spaceship in orbit, perhaps) to a stationary location on the ground.
