* FridgeLogic: Shouldn't the Mane 6 have realised that 'Gary' knows something is up when he continually turns them down and tries to escape when they forcefully show interest in him?
** Twilight under the curse tries to drug Emeris in order to essentially rape him, yet holds Emeris at fault for it as if he was completely lucid (when she should know otherwise since she is the one who ''just drugged him'') and dismisses him as being scared off when Pinkie turned up. Given that he was nearly out of his mind and still was able to resist enough to escape, it makes no sense for her to think he was willingly going around raping or taking advantage of mares. Since Twilight (and everyone else) is also completely aware of their actions under the curse, they should be well aware that even if he had succumbed in such a scenario, it wasn't willing on his part, ''hence the whole point of drugging him in the first place''. Now if he had given in to the flirtatious behaviour of say, Applejack, this point would be much more valid.
*** Further, at least early on, it would hardly be fair to expect Emeris to realise ponies were not acting as themselves. The typical reaction to flirtation or interest is not to assume it's the product of mind control of some sorts.

* TheWoobie: Emeris, who spends two years regularly being forced to save Equestria from monsters while avoiding attempted seduction or even molestation from every mare he meets, which leaves him with severe PTSD after the curse is broken. Pinkie to a lesser extent, because she was well aware she was upsetting Emeris by chasing after him under the GSE; particularly horrifying for a pony whose purpose in life is cheering others up.

She has her reasons though: [[spoiler: she's worried that he took advantage of his curse for sex, not realising that her attempt at seduction was the closest anypony ever got]].
