Think about it. Two sides (Redmond and Blutarch/Turkey and Greece), a patch of land that they both feel they're the rightful owner of (Teufort/Cyprus). Not to mention both Teufort and Cyprus look similar. I know the game specifies that it takes place in New Mexico, but that's just so American audiences will feel some familiarity with the location, if that makes any sense (I'm bad at explaining stuff)
