Disturbed is part 4, when the fighting gets really intense and nears a turning point. Pretty much all of their songs are ProtestSong s; with the release of Immortalized, it seems the rebels are winning. Only time will tell, though...

Linkin Park is part 2 of this story. Tensions are extremely high now, and protesters are clashing with police. Some civilians are trying to ignore the conflict; a bunch of them have their own fish to fry, after all (Crawling, Don't Stay, In The End, etc) but some are beginning to take up arms against the government (Rebellion, The Catalyst, Jornada Del Muerto). Things are getting ugly reaaaaally fast. Then the shot heard round the world happens...

[[Music/BreakingBenjamin]] is part 3. There's no turning back now. The world is engulfed in an all out civil war. Many of their songs are from the perspectives of rebel fighters (Into The Nothing, Fade Away, Had Enough, I Will Not Bow, Unknown Soldier). For the hapless civilians on the sidelines, their lives are slipping through their fingers. War is stressful, and entire families are breaking apart, due to arguing, loss of homes or death (What lies Beneath, You, Breath, So Cold, Anthem Of The Angels, Diary of Jane, Angels Fall, Sooner or Later). Violent crime is also skyrocketing thanks to the chaos (Lights Out, Crawl, Water, Believe).

Disturbed is part 4, when the fighting gets really intense. Pretty much all of their songs are ProtestSong s; with the release of Immortalized, it seems the rebels are winning. Only time will tell, though...

[[Music/ThreeDaysGrace]] is first. The world has been all but conquered by TheEmpire, and all but the very rich elite suffer. There are many slums and ghettos, locked in by high walls. Three Days Grace's content chronicles the daily lives and struggles of the people of various social rankings in this hellhole. Many songs like Home, Animal I Have Become and Chalk Outline are very personal, but there are a few ProtestSong's thrown in, like One X. Slowly but surely, tensions are heating up.

Breaking Benjamin is part 3. The world is now trapped in an all out civil war. Many of their songs are from the perspectives of rebel fighters. Some people are still just trying to survive, though.
