Before even arriving in the city-state, a soldier carries the news of the attack to the party in Lindbulm and shortly dies. After going through Gizmolukes' Grotto and going in Burmecia, you're treated to sights of destroyed buildings and corpses laying around. The music that players only serves to make the situation more dreadful.
