** The manner in which Brandt murders both the Rose Hill town sheriff and his deputy; first she heats up her false Homeland Security badge and presses it against the sheriff's face like a cattle-brand, then yanks it off (implicitly tearing a good bit of the skin on his face off with it) plunges her red-hot arm right through the sheriff's torso to grab the deputy's gun, pulls it back out through the hole and shoots the deputy in the head with his own gun before finally putting a round in the fallen sheriff's head for good measure even though he's probably dead already, all with a cruel yet casual indifference.
