* ''Franchise/DragonBall'' has what is usually translated as "the Other World". It includes Heaven, Hell, and the places in between where all sorts of spirits, gods, and [[CelestialBureaucracy otherworldly bureaucrats]] spend their time. The spirit world even has a spirit world of its own, the Kaioshin Realm, a place too holy even for residents of the spirit world. There's also a demon realm somewhere.

There's also a demon realm somewhere.somewhere at the universe's equivalent of the South Pole, while Other World occupies the top half of the sphere. The demon realm is distinct from Hell, which occupies the central disk between the mortal world and the Other World at the spot where the equator would be.

Should go in Films — Animated.

* ''Franchise/KungFuPanda'':
** [[WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda1 The first film]]:
*** Master Oogway is shown to disappear into cherry blossom petals when he dies, and it is later shown in the third film that he now resides in the Spirit Realm.
*** Later, Po uses a Wuxi Finger Hold to defeat the movie's primary antagonist, Tai Lung. This sends him directly to the spirit realm, and in ''WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda3'' it is shown that Kai collected his Chi along with all of the other Kung Fu Masters that he could find in the Spirit Realm.
** In ''WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda3'', the Spirit Realm is more thoroughly explored, and factors into the plot more than in the prior films.
*** Kai, the main villain of ''Kung Fu Panda 3'', collects Chi from all of the Kung Fu Masters residing in the Spirit Realm, concluding with Master Oogway, and this gives him enough power to return to the mortal world.
*** Later, Po holds onto Kai while performing a Wuxi Finger Hold on himself, which sends both to the Spirit Realm despite the move not being effective on Kai earlier. This is where Po manages to defeat Kai, and later returns alone to the mortal world.
