* In an early issue of ''Comicbook/{{Daredevil}}'', old Hornhead comes to see the Plunderer is one hot blooded customer, possessing a "fire" to him that is so bold, Daredevil could pick him out of a crowd of hundreds. Daredevil is ''blind''.

* Comicbook/{{Empowered}} is usually a [[ThereAreNoTherapists neurotic]] [[BrokenBird mess]], but when she can actually pull herself together, she qualifies nicely for this. Her friend Ninjette is like this most of the time, to Emp's ongoing frustration.
* Guy Gardner of the Comicbook/GreenLantern Corps, with a heaping dash of BoisterousBruiser. Unsurprisingly, he became a Red Lantern, since their trademark power is to spew boiling blood at their enemies.

** In ''Comicbook/KryptonNoMore'': Kara will yell at whoever slights her cousin and by the same token she will slap him if he is doing something wrong.
** In ''ComicBook/ElseworldsFinestSupergirlAndBatgirl'' both main characters count, being two emotional, passionate and stubborn women. Kara tends to be more impulsive than ''Comicbook/{{Batgirl}}'' and Barbara is more short-tempered than Supergirl, though.
** In ''Comicbook/WarWorld'' Kara is enthusiastic, strong-willed, determined and eager to jump right into the fray.

* This is ComicBook/WallyWest's main distinction from his mentor, Barry Allen. While Barry was calm and methodical, Wally is impulsive, snarky, quick to anger, and incredibly opinionated.
* '''Everything''' in ''Comicbook/{{Warrior}}'', the comic by the Wrestling/UltimateWarrior, even the narration is HotBlooded.
