** The Poltergust must have an extremely powerful dampening effect on the energy and abilities of the ghosts it captures; otherwise it would never be able to contain ones as powerful as the poltergeists, possessors, or the Boos. Sealing off their paranormal energy to keep them contained would logically keep that energy from affecting the outside world.

* Paranormal Chaos's premise is that the sheer number of ghosts is releasing so much paranormal energy that the dimension is struggling to keep up. With that in mind, how does vacuuming all the ghosts fix the problem? They still exist and are still in the dimension. If anything, wouldn't bringing them all into the same tiny spot (the Poltergust) ''worsen'' the effect?

** King Boo is established as a master of illusion. It’s hardly out of the ordinary that he would be able to pull a trick like that.

** Remember, in the first game, the mere sight of the Poltergust was enough to scare all of the Boos away, their king included, once they were released from the storage room — even though the Poltergust was being used by the renowned klutz Luigi who they were intent on capturing before they noticed it. Seems in-character that they wouldn’t want to try attacking the ghost-fortified home base of the guy who invented said Poltergust.

* So how exactly does King Boo move in the static picture? It's shrugged off without explanation, and the only time anything of that sort occurs.

** You said it yourself; E. Gadd is the one who made them, as communication devices and portable information systems. We aren't supposed to question whether Nintendo exists in the world the games take place in.

*** That's a lot like how Mario was caught in the first game. He got to the Mansion first, and was grabbed. So I guess it makes sense.
*** Though it is a bit of an AmbiguousSyntax, as that line could be interpreted as "I knew I was right to come to you first!", and not "I knew I was wrong not to come to you first!" E. Gadd never mentions calling Mario in and never once suspects that Mario is the one inside the painting the Boos are lugging around the valley, even though the second interpretation would imply that he knew something had happened to Mario before he called Luigi in. King Boo capturing Mario before the Dark Moon was shattered probably makes the most sense.

* Has anyone else wondered why Gameboy's and DS' exist in the Mario universe? While it's pretty obvious that Egadd made them, there's almost no indication that Nintendo is a company in that world as well.
