* Exactly, what race is Fumm supposed to be a part of? Some people have estimated either black or Aboriginal (personally, I’m betting on the latter). Although, he might he Biracial, since his skin color is nearly identical to the other Giants (who have mostly Caucasian features), and if you look closely, his eyes are a bluish-green color. Still, that leaves a string of more questions, like: “If he’s half white, then what’s the other half?” and “Are there (or were there) other Giants of color as well?”
** We never seen any evidence that these giants reproduce in the first place, and they probably don't age either, as they seem to ''personally'' remember their previous encounters with humans centuries ago. It's entirely possible that their whole race is supernatural in origin, and whatever process made Fallon have two heads as an individual quirk also make Fumm have a darker complexion. Maybe they were originally stone statues that became animated as flesh, and Fumm happened to have been shaped from a darker type of rock?
** Looking at the other giants' faces, their heads in general tend to be a bit distorted: too elongated, too blocky, nose protruding too far, etc. In Fumm's case, his head's distortion is too ''broad'', which coincidentally makes him look more like a human from a broad-faced ethnic background than a narrow-faced northern European.

* The film implies that Jack's world is [[spoiler:our world, so how do the Astronauts and airplane pilots not notice the land of giants?]]

** Roderick didn't just wake up on the morning the movie started and decide to become a ruthless backstabber. Odds are good that he's been conspiring to claim the throne for quite a while, and has systematically discredited, chased off, and/or outright murdered plenty of alternative candidates for Isabelle's hand.
