Part of the charm of the VideoGame/SeriousSam series is how ridiculous the setting can manage to be sometimes, especially with its secrets. Here are some of the most hilarious moments.
! As usual, Administrivia/SpoilersOff for moment pages. Proceed with caution. Administrivia/YouHaveBeenWarned.

!!Serious Sam: The First and Second Encounter

* Right when the original boots up, you hear Sam exclaim (in a hilariously rough/gravely voice): "[[BadassBoast Sam I Am!!!!!!]]"
* "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjpMmW53JnY&t=9m40s To be or not to be... that is a serious question.]]"
* NETRICSA's bios are usually good for a laugh. The best from ''The First Encounter'' is probably the notes on the SBC Cannon:
-->''- Military experts claim that the lead casing used on the cannonballs completely eliminates potential hazards for the operator caused by the uranium filling\\
- Uranium caused hazards to the target are not held important, considering the purpose of the device''
* How does ''The Second Encounter'' begin? With the Sam-stolen Ugh-Zan III's ship crashing upon... Colliding with a bus full of Croteam employees.[[note]]For some reason, this scene was removed from the HD release of ''TSE''.[[/note]]
* The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-JRF_yyhlw secret watcher]] in ''The Second Encounter'' turns out to be... A giant beheaded kamikaze.
-->''"Secret [[AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever mighty kamikaze]] has been activated!"''
* In ''TSE'', there are several rooms which have [[GravityScrew gravity fields that propel enemy mooks (and the player) around from wall to wall]]. The game also supports doppler shifting of sounds. The rooms are full of kamikaze bombers. You can see where this is going.
-->[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoUYe_TNRl8&t=25m50s AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA]]'''AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'''

!!Serious Sam II
* For starters, most of Sam's exchanges with NETRICSA. Her reason for SuddenlySpeaking?
--> '''Sam:''' ''NETRICSA? Nettie??? You can talk!''
--> '''NETRICSA:''' ''Yes, it's a bit complicated... let's just say it has something to do with [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall having a bigger game budget]].''
--> '''Sam:''' ''[[AudienceWhatAudience What game budget?]]''
** The briefing to planet Kleer during the loading screen has her joking with the idea of her being put in someone else's brain if Sam dies.
* During the cinematic to the second level on M'Digbo, Sam is being given a bunch of gibberish from one of the locals. Not even NETRICSA herself can decipher it.
** One of the secrets in the level is... a pair of Simbas [[InterruptedIntimacy getting it out]].
* After successfully [[HoldTheLine defending]] M'Keke Village from the invaders, the locals celebrate with Sam. Cue the chain of photos. The next day Sam is introduced to Klodovic, and at their first meeting, he shits on Sam's foot.
* The ending to the Ursul Suburbs has Sam finding a well of wishes and throwing a coin on it, wishing to see the path to the Simba Shaman's location. Turns out it's in front of him, and there's a huge billboard on it called "Lucky's Imprisoned Shamans".
* At one point, while releasing the Simba prisoners, Sam and Nettie find out a big shiny spark. Cue Nettie's reaction and Sam's snarky response:
--> '''NETRICSA:''' ''A shiny light! Maybe we should check it out!''
--> '''Sam:''' ''Women! Always attracted by shiny things!''
* [[Attackofthe50FootWhatever The summoning of]] [[KillerGorilla Kwongo.]]
-->'''Simba Witchdoctor:''' [[https://youtu.be/RdDkDZ79ejE?t=21 I will summon Kwongo now!]]\\
''[Witchdoctor beats on a drum... and completely fails to summon Kwongo.]''\\
'''Simba Witchdoctor:''' Hmmm... I'll have to try something completely different.\\
''[Witchdoctor busts out a DJ set and starts jamming out.]''
* The aftermath of the boss battle. What do you do with a gorilla corpse the size of a football field? Roast it on a spit.
* The beginning of the first mission on Magnor has a witch stopping at a semaphore, getting drunk... And being smashed by a train which came out of nowhere.
* How does the second level of Magnor begins? With an enemy being awakened... With a fart from Sam.
* The beginning of the fifth Magnor level has Sam and three Zixies in the Giant Junkyard. After being given a briefing, Sam suggests [[LetsSplitUpGang to split in two groups]], after which... the Zixies run and [[ItsUpToYou Sam is left alone to pick up the pieces]].
* How does Sam summon [=ZumZum=]? By calling to Boss 'R Us and asking for an end-of-level boss!
* Just the fact that the Gnaar, ''enemies of Sam back in'' TFE ''and'' TSE, are simple employees in several places and have an own news network! Quite a [[DemotedToExtra downgrade]] from ''TFE'' and ''TSE'' where they were ''{{mook}}s''.
* Sam being surrounded by Chi-Fang locals everywhere he goes. While intentionally PlayedByLaughs back in Magnor ([[{{Pun}} seriously]], outside of {{foreshadowing}} Sam having to go to Chi-Fang, what were [=ChiChies=] doing on Magnor, and ''especially'' in ''[[HiddenElfVillage Branchester]]''?), in Chi-Fang it's even more hilarious.
* After the Wheel of Fortune level, everyone on Hong-Pong gathers to celebrate Prince Chan's birthday. He proceeds to [[ImAHumanitarian eat]] a local and [[MakeMeWannaShout "recite"]] his newest poem. Sam can't get anymore of that and interrupts it. The ensuing confrontation has every local to run... Except an old man. Sam gets the baddies to agree until the local goes, which he does... At a very slow pace, with a dramatic music playing on the background. He lasts more than 20 minutes to get out.
* At the end of the first level in planet Kleer, Sam enters the building only to find... A toll booth! Whose clerk (a Gnaar) refuses to let Sam in unless he pays the fee, which happens to be... 50000000 in Kleer Drahmas. (While the next expensive one is '''90''') Sam, seeing the large row of vehicles behind him, is forced to indulge in robbery towards the Gnaar attending the booth. The Gnaar complies. Bonus points because every people he finds during this cutscene is part of a race Sam has disposed of by millions and millions during ''TFE'', ''TSE'' and ''II''... Including the aforementioned Gnaar.
* The opening cutscene for Count Kleerofski happens... In a circus, where countless of Kleer witness a clown kamikaze falling to the lava while the GNN broadcasts the whole thing. Then Kleerofski himself plays the magician, summoning... A flowerpot and three bunnies before [[MakeMyMonsterGrow growing in size for the battle]]. For bonus points, the music used for the cutscene is the [[SoundtrackDissonance cheerfully happy]] combat music used in The Great Junkyard, from Magnor.
* How Sam uses the Elvian cannons, literally just lying on top of one of them and clinging to it for dear life. It's a mystery how he even fires it!
* Sam winning the trust of the Elvian people in and heroically walking off to go fight Cecil the Dragon... only to trip and fall face-first into the camera, breaking it.
* The Coast 2 Cost level can head to several moments of hilarity, as the AI on the jet enemies aren't the best at flying in tight spaces, which can lead to them regularly smashing into walls and exploding all on their own.
** At the end of the level, Sam politely knocks the door of Kingsburg in order to see the King and gets laughed at. But that's not the funniest part. At noon, while the guards are still laughing, a ladder falls near Sam, and a woman invites him to enter. Cue NETRICSA's jealousy in the next briefing, and not speaking to Sam unless necessary until the end of the chapter:
--> ''"Why in the world did you shut me last night? HUH? I mean, you never did that before. I remember a ladder being thrown down, and a... a WOMAN! I knew it! You could've at least let me hear what she had to "say". Whatever, who am "I" to know what's going on, right? All you need to do is to find your way to the Church of Rock. And that's ALL I'm going to say."''
** The jealousness doesn't end here. At the briefing for the Castle of Rock level she's ''still'' mad at him:
--> ''"Well, you saved that poor girl. Plus your aim was poor. Maybe because you spent the night with that... that... [[WitchWithACapitalB morally challenged woman!]] Now, all you have to do is to reach the Castle Gates. Maybe you will see her again, right? Of course you will, because there is a big Wedding Ceremony behind the Castle Doors. And, of course, you are invited."''
* After fighting his way through Kingsburg, Sam descends into the sewers by ragdolling his way down a manhole and hitting every pipe and piece of metal grating on the way down.
* After the princess was kidnapped at the end of Castle of Rock, a cutscene mimicking a detective show follows, with Sam looking at some suspicious people: the consort, the [[ElvisImpersonator King]] and the Queen. We never see the Queen's face because Sam is looking at her... [[BuxomIsBetter other assets]], saying that he might have to do further... "investigation". And hoping the princess is ''"as good looking as her mother""", hoping for a ''[[DoubleEntendre "happy ending"]]''.
* The cutscene for the beginning of Floaterra has Sam skiing across the sky. At one point, he passes ''below a Boeing 747-like commercial airship''.
** [[ClingyJealousGirl NETRICSA's]] briefing for Floaterra has her ''still'' chastising Sam:
--> ''"Don't think I didn't see where you were looking back there in the Royal Quarters. Remember, I can see what you see, and YEAH, they are probably fake."''
** Doubling as a TakeThat, the end of said cutscene displays the island as if they're a typical VideoGame/{{Doom}}'s episode map. Even NETRICSA herself lampshades this:
--> ''"[[HypocriticalHumor It's not like in those other games where you can stray away and do stuff other than shooting.]]"''
* The cutscene for the boss battle against [[OurDragonsAreDifferent Cecil]] has Sam and Cecil, face to face, about to engage in the banter you expect from a SaveThePrincess plot. But things take a weird turn: Sam and Cecil, upon knowing how the princess looks like, turn the battle into... A battle for who gets to die (the winner) and who gets the princess (the loser).
* After freeing the natives of the different worlds that Mental trapped in Sirius's Moon, Sam tries to rally all of them with a RousingSpeech. The whole scene plays like a presidential speech... Only that the Gnaar remembers us whose side they're really on by having one unplug the audio at key parts and turning the whole speech into a cowardice speech. [[CrazyEnoughToWork It still works,]] as plenty of ships start departing the moon.

!!Serious Sam 3: BFE
* This line from the trailer, which may double a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome:
-->'''Sam''': It's not over until I [[BeatingADeadPlayer teabag]] ''every last one of you alien [[PrecisionFStrike motherfuckers.]]''
* The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtEmAehhNT8 Serious Sam BFE Helpline]] promotional videos.
-->'''Rich Knuckles:''' You can stand there all you want, Mr. Elliot, but your health isn't gonna automatically regenerate. [[TakeThat Stop being such a f[BEEP]ing p[BEEP]y.]]
* The entire cutscene of Sam blowing up the Sphinx and his ensuing argument with Quinn is one big funny moment.
* This cutscene from level 4 after Sam explodes a bridge:
-->'''Sam:''' ''Nothing says 'honey I'm home' like a stick of dynamites.''
-->[Sam detonates the explosives.]
-->'''Quinn:''' ''Jesus Christ, Sam! Do you have to blow ''EVERYTHING'' up?''
-->'''Sam:''' ''As a matter of fact, I do.''
* This scene from ''BFE'':
-->'''Headless Kamikaze:''' ''AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!''
--> [Sam kills the Headless Kamikaze'']
--> '''Sam:''' ''AAAAAAAAAAH-- put a sock in it.''
--> [Hordes of Headless Kamikazes approach]
--> '''Hordes of Headless Kamikaze:''' '''''AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!'''''
--> '''Sam:''' ''[[OhCrap Uh oh.]]''
** This is a callback to a similar scene from ''The First Encounter'', with the only change being Sam's one-liner to the first Kamikaze. ''"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH yourself!"''
* The cutscene where Sam locates Professor Stein's phone next to his severed arm. Quinn had been calling, and when Sam responds, telling her that Stein is dead, she asks if he found his phone.
-->'''Sam:''' (in a "are you fucking kidding me" tone) ''You mean the phone you just called??''
--> '''Quinn:''' ''Uh... right.''
** Adding to the funny, even the ''music'' stops for a double take.
* ''"Jesus Harold Faltermeyer Christ!"''
* The FinalBoss fight, with Sam walking in on Ugh-Zan IV throwing down with the Sand Whale that had been chasing him.
-->'''Sam''': ''You guys having an ugly contest? I'll make it easy for you, you ''both'' win!''
** And shortly thereafter, in a call with Mental's daughter as Sam threatens to kill Mental:
--->'''Mental's Daughter''': ''Are you [[CallBack serious?]]''
--> '''Sam''': ''Why yes, as a matter of fact I am.''
** And then they manage to turn the destruction of the Earth into a [[MoodWhiplash mooning joke.]]
* And one line from the ''Jewel of the Nile'' DLC.
-->'''Sam''': ''Failsafe? [[LiteralMinded Is that some kind of vault which you keep all your fail in?]] Because, I love ya Quinn, but [[StealthInsult a failsafe is sounding more and more like an apt description of this mission.]]''

Bonus points because every people he finds during this cutscene is part of a race Sam has disposed of by millions and millions during TFE, TSE and II... Including the aforementioned Gnaar.
* The opening cutscene for Count Kleerofski happens... In a circus, where countlesd of Kleer witness a clown kamikaze falling to the lava while the GNN broadcasts the whole thing. Then Kleerofski himself plays the magician, summoning... A flowerpot and three bunnies before [[MakeMyMonsterGrow he gets to grow in size for the battle]]. For bonus points, the music used for the cutscene is the [[SoundtrackDissonance cheerfully happy]] combat music used in The Great Junkyard, from Magnor.
* How Sam uses the Elvian cannons in ''II'', literally just lying on top of one of them and clinging to it for dear life. It's a mystery how he even fires it!
* Sam winning the trust of the Elvian people in ''II'' and heroically walking off to go fight Cecil the Dragon... only to trip and fall face-first into the camera, breaking it.
* Coast 2 Cost in ''II'' can head to several moments of hilarity, as the AI on the jet enemies aren't the best at flying in tight spaces, which can lead to them regularly smashing into walls and exploding all on their own.

* After freeing the natives of the different worlds that Mental trapped in Sirius's Moon, Sam tries to rally all of them with a RousingSpeech. The whole scene plays like a presidential speech... Only that the Gnaar remembers us whose side they're really with by having one unplug the audio at key parts and turning the whole speech into a cowardice speech. [[CrazyEnoughToWork It still works,]] as plenty of ships start departing the moon.
