* In the movie, the Rangers never thought to have Lerigot heal Rocky's back the same way he healed Kat's leg. It would have been much easier to do this than to try and squeeze in a last minute replacement who has neither the experience in the field nor the rapport with the team that Rocky does.
** It may be that Lerigot's magic operates on a similar rule to the Whitelighters of ''Series/Charmed1998''; just as Whitelighters were forbidden to heal conditions that weren't caused by fighting evil (Leo got his wings clipped when he healed Piper from a dangerous virus as that was a natural infection), maybe Lerigot could heal Kat's leg as she was injured trying to help him but couldn't help Rocky as his injury was the result of his own carelessness.
** Alternatively, since Lerigot is weakened by exposure to Earth's atmosphere, he may not have had the power to heal Rocky when he was initially brought to the Command Centre, and by the time he was strong enough he and the Rangers had to rescue his family, Jason and Kimberly from Divatox.
* Justin being able to morph directly contradicts one of the few rules of the Morphing Grid previously established by Zordon, in that he is a kid and not a teenager. During the third season of ''MMPR'', Master Vile turns the Rangers into children, because in that form, they're unable to morph. That's what necessitated the use of the Zeo Crystal to turn the world back to normal, so they could become teenagers again and thus regain the ability to morph. As ALL of the morphers are connected to the same Morphing Grid, it doesn't make sense that the Turbo Morpher should be any different than the Power Morphers by allowing a kid to become a Power Ranger.
** It could be that those past issues prompted Zordon and Alpha to create morphers that ''would'' allow children to morph if the right candidate came along.

** Adding to that is how well-prepared the attack was: when the Rangers confront the Piranhatrons the mooks are instructed to use their numbers to ''keep the Rangers busy'' while some try and just waltz in the Power Chamber (any Ranger getting killed at this point of the fight would have been a bonus); Lightning Bruiser and Storm Blaster foil the attempt to sneak in, but the Piranhatrons just whip out nets and capture them; when the Rangers are forced to run back in the Power Chamber and lock the outer gate, the shields have mysteriously vanished; as for the gate, the Piranhatrons don't waste time trying to breach it with their hammers, as they have brought a battering ram to break it down efficiently (it takes them less than two minutes) and climbing ropes to get on the roof and enter by breaching it, allowing them to attack from multiple directions bypassing the gates of the inside command center... And play distraction while Elgar walks in and plants the bombs. ''After'' smashing Dimitria's tube, so that even if they somehow failed she'd be unable to come back.

''After'' smashing in, spots Dimitria's tube, so empty tube and smashes it to make sure that even if they somehow failed she'd no matter what she won't be unable able to come back.
to the rescue, plants the bombs, sends out a smoke signal, and runs out with seconds to spare.
** Another goal of the Piranhatrons during the fight in the Power Chamber was to make sure they couldn't teleport out before the bombs exploded... Thus the ones who weren't engaging the Rangers smashed everything they could find, starting from the console that controlled the teleportation equipment. Elgar's failure to confirm the Rangers were inside when the bombs detonated push Divatox to look for the bodies, as she knows better than [[NeverFoundTheBody just assume they were dead without evidence]].

* During the attack on the Power Chamber only a few Piranhatrons at a time engage the Rangers... Because the main goal wasn't their death but the destruction of the Power Chamber: their job was to smash as many things as they could and make sure it was wrecked even if Elgar failed to plant the bombs, only a few at a time were needed to keep the Rangers out of the way.

way - if they actually lucked out and killed one or more of the Rangers, it was just a bonus.
