Correct, it's incredibly common for Jews to participate in Christmas traditions in Western societies. No fridge brilliance here.

* Gretchen mentions that she's Jewish. Her dancing to a Christmas song still makes sense because she'd do anything if Regina told her to do so. It's also possible that she downplays her Jewish faith to try and fit in more with Regina.
** Also, [[TruthInTelevision a lot of real-life Jews externally celebrate Christmas with gentile friends or even relatives]], especially those who grew up in mostly gentile public schools and neighborhoods, rather than private Jewish schools or neighborhoods.

* Regina contacting Taylor Wedell's mother and giving her the idea that Taylor (a teenager) has been going to Planned Parenthood and has 'urgent test results' is mainly played for laughs, and the outcome is never really shown besides Taylor's mother calling her. However, this could have severe consequences for Taylor - her mother could restrict her from being social (particularly with boys), and at the least Taylor would have to prove that she's not been involved with Planned Parenthood. She's not even in the wrong in the situation, as Jason is the one who's supposed to be romantically involved with Gretchen, Taylor may not have even been aware of this (or perhaps Jason lied to her).

* Regina's line referring to Gretchen's nomination for Spring Fling Queen, saying that "She's not even pretty." In the original script, Gretchen was intended to be average at best, ugly at worst - mostly desirable because of her expensive clothes and lavish lifestyle. When the obviously pretty Creator/LaceyChabert was cast for the role, this line was left in, and rather than just a statement, it becomes an insight into Regina's character. She truly believes that she is the queen bee because she deserves it. YMMV on which girl is most attractive, but fans can all agree that each of them is gorgeous, and only Regina's inflated ego could have resulted in such a surprise at Gretchen's nomination. It also possibly gives Regina's bullying anti-Semitic undertones, which goes with her [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain homophobic bullying of Janice]].

** Which drifts into a bit of averted FridgeHorror. Janis may have revealed her Lebanese heritage to her at that time best friend Regina in confidence because Arab heritage would have become problematic after 9-11. This movie did come out in 2004. While Regina innocently misconstruing Lebanese for lesbian sucked a lot for Janis, it could have been much much worse - as in Regina and the school ostracizing her as an "Arab terrorist"

* In the musical, Karen's first music segment has this musical build that ends with a gag, "My name is Karen, I may not be awfully smart... that's it." But her breezy personality, and her later kindness to Cady, also immediately tells the audience that she has a big heart. And she didn't even need the explicit rhyme to say a lot about her.
* The teenager characters don't bat an eye at Coach Carr having sex with underage girls; at best treating it like an oddity, at worst praising how he managed to "score" some hot chicks. However, the adults all treat it with the horror and severity it deserves. This is probably because a lot of teenagers feel more adult than they really are, and might not see adult/teen relationships as a big deal. But with maturity and hindsight, most adults (hopefully) understand what a severe [[UnequalPairing abuse of power]] it is, and how it can mess up young people's psyches in the long run.

* Why did Janis receive [[KarmaHoudini no comeuppance]] for her actions against Regina, while Cady received very harsh reactions from the rest of the school? Because Cady was a newcomer, and the rest of the school had no idea what Regina might have done to her, while Janis had known Regina for years. They could chalk up Janis’ behaviour to a KickTheSonOfABitch reaction, while assuming Cady was just a massive {{Jerkass}}.

** There's also a difference between humiliating the Regina in front of the whole school, something most of the girls probably already dreamed of. But pushing her in front of a bus equals trying to kill her which is even for girls who were "personally victimized by Regina George" a tad bit too much. So Cady is treated as insane.

* So, how ''did'' the girl that wanted to make a cake of rainbows and smiles get there? Did news of the riot and confession meeting get out somehow?
** Perhaps she has a friend who goes to that school and they texted her about the riot/confession meeting.
** The musical answers this as the girl was there for a track meet that was meeting the day the Burn Book got released and just happened to wander in.

** Carr telling the students in lessons that having sex will lead to them getting pregnant and dying, or getting chlamydia and dying is mainly played as a joke. But with the knowledge that he's having (and potentially has had more in the past) inappropriate relationships with students, him saying that could have a very dark implication.

** This is also evidenced when Regina is rejected from sitting with the rest of the Plastics; when it comes to her wearing sweatpants on Monday, she says that the rules aren’t real. But Karen says that they were real when she wore a vest Regina didn’t like. Just from that exchange, it’s pretty easy to infer that Regina views herself as being above the fashion rules, whereas the others get penalised if they break the rules.

** One might also recall that Janis did have what appeared to be an actual apology written down and ready to go, all the way up until Regina makes one quip too many right before Janis was about to give it, and that's when Janis chose to deliver the massive fake apology that revealed herself to be behind everything instead. The rest of the student body perceived it as Regina bringing it down upon herself, with the "it" being both Janis's revenge scheme, and also the public reveal of the specific details of said scheme.
