* When meeting Bookman at Dulles Airport, Koko tells her team that lunch is on Bookman, who has an OhCrap reaction and figures that lunch is going to cost him US$2000 dollars. A normal mealset at a Five Guys burger joint (which is the place in question) will cost about US$10-12, so a rough estimate would be that a meal for ten people (Koko & crew makes 9, plus Hinoki makes 10) would cost between US$120-200. There are thus two questions:
** How much did they ''eat?''
** ''How much did '''Bookman''' eat?''
*** You should go to the food court at an airport terminal once you get past the security check point. The mark up in any of the shops once you are at the terminal gates where you board a plane is anywhere from 50% - 200% sometimes more depending on what airport you are in. They are able to do this because they know once you are there you have no other choice besides leaving the airport to get food or anything else.

* While the in universe explanation for why Koko won't accept drugs as a payment for weapons is fine and all. There is also several pragmatic reasons when you think about it.
** She is a weapon dealer, not a drug dealer and there is nothing that say that she has the contacts necessary to sell the cocaine at a good price.
** The drug market (unlike the weapon market) is also incredible volatile. What is to say that when she finally finds a buyer, the price has crashed so much that it will in no way cover for the weapons?
** There is also the question of why they are trading the cocaine to begin with and not sold it themselves. Is it of bad quality or even stolen and are being unloaded on Koko? there is no way to tell either.
** And off course, her brother would never let her hear the end of it if he found out.

** My guess this would be where their numerous fake passports would come into play. I think it was her brother that bragged about how many fake identities and passports he had earlier in the series.

* Pretty much everyone in the series is CombatPragmatist and many are active military or paramilitary (Night Nine and Hex's team) or personel or are retired from the same. A common attitude in the military can be summed up thusly: If you are in a fair fight you've done something badly wrong.

* When Koko says she's selling arms to aid the cause of world peace, though hypocritical, she is being completely truthful. After all, even if you've got a friend (and some people you've kidnapped) doing the hard work [[spoiler: building a quantum computer and the miniturising it down to a 10 feet box from the size of a multistory building]] would require an astronomical amount of money which she has raised nrough her illicit arms deals.

* Quite interesting that Koko and Wiley can't enter American soil considering that they're under a FBI blacklist. But since they're in an airport...

* In the anime, Chinatsu was originally a normal girl who was in an opera house with her parents when he slaughtered the entire cast and audience except her (by accidental survival, not his choice). How she went from her rage and attempt to kill him during that to her killing skills and psychopathic devotion to him is best not dwelled upon.

* Hex tried to capture Jonah ALIVE. And when you remember her saying "There's more than one way to break a person..." Suddenly she's even more of a monster than I thought possible. Koko probably realised this, what Hex had been trying to do and how close she came to succeeding when Jonah actually got drugged and couldn't even defend himself. So maybe Koko's response doesn't seem all that extreme anymore.

Eh, lost the edit reason, writing again. Neither are Fridge Logic; Jonah wouldn\'t have survived this long if he rushed people, nor does he do it in any other circumstance, and it\'s people explaining after the fact, not asking after the fact. The other is a headscratcher, and violates the one voice the wiki is supposed to have.

* Valmet initially plans to kill Jonah and then commit suicide if he harms or kills Koko. If Koko happens to survive, then what's the point of committing suicide?
** Expunging her shame at failing to prevent Koko from being hurt. When it comes to Koko, Valmet's overdramatic like that.
* A lot of people wondered why Jonah rushed towards Shishio while the former emptied his [=MP5K=] at the latter. Some people in the forums do suggest that this was how Jonah operated when he was a child soldier.

* Chinatsu wasn't raised by her master. She was originally a normal girl. [[spoiler: She was in the wrong place at the wrong time when her master went on a killing rampage. Her parents pulled a HeroicSacrifice to save her. Had she chosen to play dead rather than confront her parents' killer, she never would have become the deranged killer she is now.]]
