Xanatos Roulette is no longer a tropename. It has been renamed to Gambit Roulette. Moved Fridge Logic to Headscratchers

* FridgeLogic: If Washu was trying to observe Superman for her research on the inhuman condition, then wouldn't it make more sense to observe him secretly and not contaminate the results with her interference? At worst, she should've just released some super criminals and just watched the results.

* FridgeLogic: If Washu was trying GambitRoulette: Legion's plan started with interupting a broadcast on TV, and meandered through a plot to observe frame Ryoko and hoping the Jurai Royal Family carried the IdiotBall. It would have been simpler just to grab Superman for her research on from the inhuman condition, then wouldn't it make more sense to observe him secretly and not contaminate the results with her interference? At worst, she should've just released some super criminals and just watched the results. jump...

* CharacterDerailment: Let's get this out of the way. Washu tying up her daughter and leaving her in the dark was bad. [[http://www.angelfire.com/md2/firebird308/fanfics/crossovers/theinhcon/theinhcon15.html Becoming a little sadist and electrocuting her daughter on tape]] probably crossed the line, even by Kajishima standards. The lackluster and weak response from Tenchi, Ayeka and Steel about this probably counts as well. ''Especially'' [[TheCape Steel.]] The worst depiction of Washu in a 'well written fanfic' since Diane Long's ''How Much Can A Person Take''.

* AssPull: [[GodModeSue Tenchi is powerful yes, but come on]]....turning the Jurai energy in his sword into sunlight and using it to heal Superman? Really? From the kid who couldn't figure out how to even work the damn sword a few months prior? Be best if the author just handed the good guys an ''I win'' button.
** Wasn't the point of that sequence to be payoff to the scene several chapters earlier when Superman told Tenchi that he had a responsibility to learn how his powers worked to protect those around him? Tenchi just went [[TheSilverAgeOfComicBooks Silver Age]] on examining [[RequiredSecondaryPowers the fact that the Tenchi-ken could absorb Ryoko's gems when Yosho sealed her]], and used it to TakeAThirdOption in the duel -- in an act of {{Superdickery}}, to boot!
*** Given the fact that the ship was orbiting a non-yellow sun at the time, the reader has to wonder where the yellow sunlight came from to be absorbed.
** To a lesser degree, the whole idea that Superman was secretly conducting an experiment to test Washu's theory the whole time is a bit much to swallow.
* CharacterDerailment: Let's get this out of the way. Washu tying up her daughter and leaving her in the dark was bad. [[http://www.angelfire.com/md2/firebird308/fanfics/crossovers/theinhcon/theinhcon15.html Becoming a little sadist and electrocuting her daughter on tape]] probably crossed the line, even by [[FallenCreator Kajishima]] standards. The lackluster and weak response from Tenchi, Ayeka and Steel about this probably counts as well. ''Especially'' [[TheCape Steel.]] The worst depiction of Washu in a 'well written fanfic' since Diane Long's ''How Much Can A Person Take''.
* ExcusePlot: Having a tag team match with [[BountyHunter Lobo and Nagi]] and visiting the prison planet didn't move the plot along, among other things in the story. So why show it? Why to show off as much of Superman's mythos as possible, of course! And sticking the Tenchi family along with it.
** Steel's whole placement in this fic is part of this. Washu complains that while she's a scientist, she can't build a ship. Fair enough. So why can't she place a call to Jurai and ask for one of theirs? 'Hello, one of your heirs to the throne is missing. Lend a hand?' It's doubtful that the Jurai Royal Family would place their heirs on a planet with no means of communication. The answer...so Steel could get placed as a character in this fic, complete with a handy ship he just happened to have nearby. Steel is a favorite character of the author if his LiveJournal writings are to be believed, and this was a way to get him into the story despite having no real baring on the plot.

Take''.

* IdiotPlot: As VillainBall demonstrates, Legion could've won before the story even started if he just stopped and used his brain for a little bit.
