* ItsAllAboutMe: He manages to have an ego rivalling Wesker's but without the AGodIAm. Doom can't get enough about bragging how awesome he is and how he can curb-stomp anyone he feels like. Doom often pesters guests with this and ends up paying for it usually in hilarious fashion.

* AlmightyJanitor / BadassNormal: Manages to hold his own against superpowered bioterrorists, zombies, and a KnightTemplar from the future using nothing but his knowledge of fighting games. And occasionally an assault rifle.
* BewareTheNiceOnes / LetsGetDangerous: Seems to be easygoing and not much besides a video game nerd, but he ''will'' step up if the situations calls for it.
** BerserkMode: In the ''Alien'' special, he gets frequently delegated to just playing games while the rest of the team is busy hunting Aliens. [[spoiler:After having enough of being pushed around, he turns into the [[WebVideo/TwoBestFriendsPlay Scrublord]], who immediately wants to beat something up.]]

* RealMenWearPink: Doom is proud to be a [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic brony]] and does not care what anyone else thinks.
** Same deal for his actor (to the point where he called himself [[EnsembleDarkhorse Derpy Hooves]] in his & Max's playthrough of ''VideoGame/AliensColonialMarines'').

* RealityWarper: Doctor Doom. He can get anything he wants just by snapping his fingers.

* CharacterizationMarchesOn: Originally Wesker was the BigBad of Season 1 and probably the most threatening villain in the series with a few instances of RealMenWearPink thrown in for [[RuleOfFunny comedy]], such as the Nyan Cat ringtone. After [[spoiler: he saves Max and Doom from Deadpool]], he still insists on becoming a god and defeating Doom. He's a lot less threatening and even [[EnemyMine teams up with Doom and Hiryu]] to stop the BiggerBad showing no scorn towards Max or even Doom.
