* Gwen Conliffe is the character that finally kills the feared werewolf that terrified Blackmoor and London's City. Even with a hungry werewolf chasing after her and tracking her scent in the dark forest by night, [[AdaptationalBadass she keep her composure despite being clearly terrified]] and manages to [[IKnowYouAreInThereSomewhereFight reach past the raging monster and find Lawrence, causing him to hesitate in attacking her]]. After that fails due to the hunters, she shoots him with a silver bullet, [[DyingAsYourSelf freeing him, for which he thanks her]].

* When the transformed Sir John is attacking the gypsy camp, Lawrence doesn't run and hide like so many others, but draws his gun, tackles a mother out of the creature's way, and when he sees the wolfman chasing after a young boy who'd fled the camp, immediately races after them to help, though this turns into a NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished when Lawrence is bitten and turned into a wolfman himself.

** Even before this, she manages to try help Lawrence in what seems to be a month of no sleep, and without taking care of herself, and even finding the only person that knows everything about lycanthropy, Maleva.

*** Even better, he actually ignores most of the doctors there, and only kills [[KickTheSonOfABitch two or three of the people who'd specifically mistreated him during his incarceration.]]

** Even before this, she manages to try help Lawrence in what seems to be a month of no sleep and even finding the only person that knows everything about lycanthropy, Maleva.

* The hunters' attempt to trap the werewolf is mostly a farce, with one of them accidentally falling into the pit they'd just trapped him in, two more being killed by friendly fire, and most of them fleeing in terror without putting up much of a fight, but Squire Strickland deserves a little credit for standing his ground and attempting to fight Lawrence with just the butt of his empty rifle (although it's lessened by how he's killed in an OffhandBackhand manner).

* The showdown between Wolfman Lawrence and [[spoiler: Wolfman Sir John]].

* When the transformed [[spoiler: Sir John]] is attacking the gypsy camp, Lawrence doesn't run and hide like so many others, but draws his gun, tackles a mother out of the creature's way, and when he sees the wolfman chasing after a young boy who'd fled the camp, immediately races after them to help, though this turns into a NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished when Lawrence is bitten and turned into a wolfman himself.

** so is the transformation sequence that precedes it, when Lawrence transforms right before an audience of doctors and newsmen who think he's crazy. Granted, most of those guys probably didn't deserve to die, but Dr. Hoenneger and the orderlies were so cruel it's pretty satisfying to see the terror on their faces when they realize Lawrence really is a werewolf and he's about to eat them.

** Also, while the asylum orderly is a sadist and a creep, he nonetheless charges the fully-transformed Lawrence with a syringe and attempts to sedate him, although all it succeeds in his drawing Lawrence's attention towards him.
* When the transformed [[spoiler: Sir John]]. is attacking the gypsy camp, Lawrence doesn't run and hide like so many others, but draws his gun, tackles a mother out of the creatures way, and when he sees the wolf chasing after a young boy who'd fled the camp, immediately races after them to help, although this turns into a NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished, when Lawrence is bitten and turned into a wolfman himself.
* McQueen's speech as he listens to the village bigwigs speculating about what's behind the recent deaths. Unfortunately, it is promptly dismissed by his listeners, but after the deaths during the next full moon, they take it a little seriously.

* The London rampage deserves special mention. It may be a little narmy, but the Wolfman perched atop a gargoyle, as he looks out over the city of London, before letting loose a monstrous howl, is pretty damn cool.
