** The brief segment with Cory's history report, honoring black people who made their marks on the world we know today. Including Frederick Douglass, Bessie Coleman, Creator/ScottJoplin, Gary Morgan, Harriet Tubman, Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, Sojourner Truth, Madam C.J. Walker, Althea Gibson, Marcus Garvey, Mary McLeod Bethune and Jesse Owens. And then there's Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. And Cory thought black history was boring. He was motivated to finish his project after learning about all these accomplishments.
** The fact that this episode ''exists.'' Once again, Disney made a VerySpecialEpisode that deals with realistic factors. Racism is unfortunately very common in the modern days. The fact that the episode was made in honor of Black History Month also helps.

* '''Mother Dearest:''' Even though it lands her in trouble, you have to admit, Raven calling out Mr. Petracelli on his unfair treatment of his students, and intentionally humiliating them can be seen as one. She even got a crowd of applause after class ended.

* '''He's Got the Power:''' So, a teenage jerk named Sonny tricked Eddie (who temporarily had psychic powers at the time) into helping him gamble for horse hoping to receive money in return, all while pretending to be friendly with him. When Eddie picked the wrong horse after losing his temporary powers, the second time, Sonny tried to beat him up in anger, but then Raven and Chelsea showed up on the scene pulling a BigDamnHeroes moment disguised as 70s cops Coffee and Cream no less. [[ItMakesSenseInContext (It was 70s Night at the Chill Grill)]] Just minutes ago, Raven was just complaining about how annoyed she was about Eddie's recent pride. She could have abandoned him and let Sonny give him a piece of his mind, but instead she chose to help Eddie out and stop Sonny. This also doubles as a [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments funny moment]] and a [[Sugarwiki/HeartwarmingMoments heartwarming moment.]]

** Meta-wise, the episode itself can be considered a [=CMoA=]. It focuses on a serious topic known as shoplifting, and it shows that Disney's not afraid to talk about these kinds of subjects. Not bad for one of Disney's first sitcoms.

** Right before Raven was going to lose her visions, because she thought they only caused her trouble, her loved ones were trying to convince her think about what she was doing. * The show itself is a huge moment of awesome for Disney Channel as a whole. The show destroyed the 65-episode rule, and made way for longer running series on Disney networks. Anytime you notice a Disney Channel Original longer than 65 episodes, just remember you have Raven to thank for that. WesternAnimation/KimPossible? Raven was there. Series/TheSuiteLifeOfZackAndCody? Thank Raven. Series/HannahMontana? Raven again. Series/WizardsOfWaverlyPlace? ''Definitely'' Raven.
* The writers purposely chose to write Tanya out of the show, hoping to prevent her from suffering {{Flanderization}}, and judging by how show turned out, they made the right choice.

** Then when Sonny and finds out they're not real cops, he tried to finish what he started with Eddie, but then Tonya and Victor pulled their own BigDamnHeroes moment by showing up on the scene, calling out Sonny for gambling and threatening Eddie, and calling Sonny's mother. it just goes to show how much these two care for Raven and her friends.
* '''Skunk'd:''' Raven knew how upset Chelsea was over her not enjoying nature like she does, but she still decided to go into the dark woods by herself just so she could save Chelsea from being stuck under a rock. And get this, she didn't even ''like'' nature at the time

** After Daryl and his crew tried to sell Cory out to a police officer (actually Raven in disguise), Raven made Daryl's crew stay put, so they couldn't play innocent.

** But naturally, RealityEnsues and Raven was not only disqualified, but got a pair of security cops on her tail who kicked her out, but hey, at least Raven was living in the moment for a little bit, that's better than nothing.

** On an unrelated note, the fact the Raven was able to hold onto that rope for a few seconds, despite not having the strength for it, is also awesome.

* '''The Royal Treatment:''' Raven witnessed a group of students picked on a foreign/exchange student. So how does she get them to stop? She criticizes their fashion choices, and an attempt to hurt them, and guess what? It works.

* '''Taken to the Cleaners:''' The fact the that Stanley, a 6-7-year-old boy, was single-handedly able to defeat Cory (a scheming expert), Eddie, and Victor (Cory and Raven's father), during the ping-pong matches and win over their stuff. Do not judge a person by their age or appearance.

* '''Country Cousins:''' Raven using to detective skills to retrace the steps of where their cousins' gravy boat last was and realizing she and Vicky used to bury anything they could find. [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments So her and Vicky realizing their mistake not only settled a years-long feud against both families, it reunited them as well, being Raven and Vicki closer together.]]
