- Take That! - While Giovanni eats dinner, he listens to his court musicians playing various melodies. Most of them are from Mozart's previous operas, and Giovanni enjoys them. Then they play a popular tune written by Mozart's contemporary, Salieri, and Giovanni says "Oh God, not that!" Curiously, this goes unmentioned in Amadeus
