Charred Knight: It can't come close to Crowning Moment Of Awesome or Discontinuity after it was decided that instead of discontinuity among a large audience it became personal Discontinuity. My biggest problem is that the page is Tastes Like Diabetes
Caswin: Well, as far as that second part goes, that's only to be expected when we put all the Crowning Moments of Heartwarming we can think of one after the other. In the context of whatever series, movie, or wherever they show up, any given Moment is likely to be genuinely moving and worthy of the "crowning" qualifier.
Dentaku: There is some truth to that. After entering several examples myself, I start realizing that it is all highly subjective. What I find to be heartwarming may be downright sappy for someone else. I did try to find examples though that are not overly melodramatic and actually fit the continuity of the story, as indicated by the intro of the page.

Charred Knight: deleted mention that Evangelion has a downer ending, and is a deconstruction series. Who cares? Its not a deconstruction on Rei getting some damn character development, she likes Shinji, and who cares if its a downer ending, it doesn't matter for that scene.
Dentaku: Orihime, could you please stop changing the .hack//SIGN example? In that series Tsukasa really thinks she is a guy herself while she is trapped in the game, but turns out to be a girl in real life. She does not think that of Subaru, who is female in both worlds. Your alteration doesn't make any sense.
