From YKTTW

Tanto: Isn't this just Race Against the Clock?

Seth: Yup, and i restate that people should read a good two thirds of the site before posting YKTTW topics.

Mister Six: It's very specifically about the 48 hour deadline seen in countless cop shows and movies. A subtrope, if you will. For that very reason, I took out these:

24 has a threat that must be averted "within the hour" at least every other episode.

Subverted on The Simpsons when Fat Tony offers an ultimatum to Marge; "You have 24 hours, and, just to prove that we are serious - you have 12 hours."

TJ Devil 02: Okay, this doesn't go on the main page, but: "In The Naked Gun, Frank Drebben has 48 hours to prove that Nordberg is innocent." Which is ironically about how long it took Johnny Cochran to "prove" the same thing in 1995.

CodeMan38: Duh. Brain fog. Moving "4 Minutes" into Race Against the Clock, because 4 minutes is definitely less than 48 hours...

copycatzero: Okay, I just went through and culled a bunch of entries that had nothing to do with the 48 hour/two day thing (including two entries that were apparently ALREADY removed, which means someone else PUT THEM BACK), and now the examples section is looking rather anemic. Do we really want to keep this as its own seperate page, or should we just merge the tropes and make a note about the "48 hour" thing?
