I hate it when people create good pages but don't have examples.
Also Sprach Odin: Well, what would you have me do? I could add Teen Titans, Avatar The Last Airbender, Venture Bros, Mulan, South Park, etc... but as stated, it's pretty much universal and would serve little purpose. As for anime and video games I think it's pretty much fifty-fifty of blue and transparent water, so we'll look at a practically endless list of straight plays and aversions, which I just don't see as serving any great purpose. Maybe Pixar with their computer-animated clear water could be added as an example of the few aversions (I can think of, anyway) in western media, but for such general tropes I thought it would be best to just describe the trope and let that be it. I'm just going to see what other input this trope gets and see from there.
