Dark Sasami: While writing Seiza Squirm (inspired by the discussion below), I realized I was capitalizing Victim of the Week. Do we already have something on that? The character that is introduced, given backstory, then has their problem solved and goes away forever? In Sailor Moon, one of these was a necessary counterpart to the Monster of the Week; they also show up in detective shows and the like.
If we already have this, smack me around, because it's probably an ancient and venerable entry that I should know.
Gus: I couldn't believe it either, so I had a look around. Nope... 3751 entries, and nobody has yet plucked that ripe plum.
Ununnilium: Wow, we could so use that, in any show where the good guys stop a different bad thing from happening each week. Neat.
