- Is it a Cookie Cutter Fic when the original author adapts the plot of his (published) story but uses a new set of protagonists?
Zelnor: I think the description is somwhat lacking; it's rahter ambiguous and doesn't really explain where the term comes from. I think it was an allegory to cookie dough or something.
szaleniec: It's because it results in everything looking the same.
