puritybrown: I'm not really a fan of Tokyopop, but this article strikes me as grudgey. What's with all the Take That! potholes? Is it definitive that they had to cut back because of cannibalisation at retail, and not, say, increased competition from other publishers with closer relationships with Japanese companies? Also, their website isn't nearly as bad as it used to be (though admittedly it was pretty bloody apalling at one point).
Ronka87: I was just thinking that about the website, but I found the screencap too funny to cut. You are right that it's gotten a bit snarky, but I still don't think it's very harsh. In the name of fairness, though, it could stand to be altered a bit. *goes off to do so*
