- Death Note skips four years in the seventh volume in order to give time for the new protaganists/antagonists (it's so hard to decide who is which in Death Note) time to make their plans before they appear.
Gracie Lizzie: No Light is the protagonist, and those who oppose him are antagonists. Protagonist just means "central figure" or "figure who the POV is from" not "good guy".
