Various director commentaries point out things never explained in the film, like Brodie Bruce and Randall Graves' relationship (they're cousins), or the fact that Rick Derris is Jay's older brother.
I'd kind-of like to know where that last part (Jay is Rick Derris' younger brother) came from. I've searched and found references to it having been "confirmed" but I've never heard about it before, and I think I would have noticed. I'm a pretty avid watcher of the commentaries and I think that's a detail I would have picked up on, considering I'm a Jay/Silent Bob shipper and am constantly looking for canon material. Would someone like to enlighten me as to where, exactly, this was said? - Mercury
