I don't know whether there's a trope that applies to this (except possibly Fridge Logic, but that doesn't even because it occured to me immediately) but, in the Film of the Book at least, the aunt is regressed to being six and a half years old... and that's supposed to be a good thing?!!? I dunno. It Just Bugs Me!. -Little Beast

  • Considering the kind of life she's lead up to this point (getting mauled by invisible goblins at 6, watching her father dragged off into the sky by sylphs, living a reclusive life terrified to step over a circle of mushrooms then winding up in an asylum talking to flowers...), it might be a good thing to have a second go with a father who isn't continually obsessed with learning the secrets of assorted magical creatures.
