The Bad Wolf: I took out the line * InformedAbility (Dwight Schrute's sales skills) as the episode Traveling Salesmen clearly shows his 1337 skillz at selling.

Eric DVH: Wow, this has to be the most boring show on TV, EVER. After hearing so much about it I watched a few episodes, straining to see if anything entertaining would happen... I've seen funnier cassettes full of security camera footage.

:Clearly there is something wrong with you. See a doctor. ~~~~

Since most of the trope entries and discussion seem to be about the US show, couldn't they be moved to a separate page? or, redirect the link from the "British Series" page to a placeholder page called "The Office (UK version)" or similar? ~~~~

  • I wouldn't favour a full split, but it might be worth subdividing the listing: "The UK series includes examples of:" ... "The US series includes examples of:" ... (like the Battlestar Galactica page does)

Areku: There's a deleted scene from "Back From Vacation" in the American version where Kelly is singing some sort of counting song as she counts things for inventory. Is that a specific reference? Does anyone know the song she's singing?

pagad: little weird that for a British series, it's the American version with the most trope entries. There must be some British Office fans on here!

  • The American version has nearly ten times more episodes, so they've naturally had to use more tropes.

Mens Rea: The ramifications of Ryan's arrest seem to have been swept under the bed. Unless the Feds' case totally collapsed, it seems unlikely that he'd be free and clear and living in Scranton the very next year. Additionally, the Scranton branch would have almost certainly been subpoenaed to testify against him. Wallace would have been forced to resign by the board, and Dunder Mifflin would have taken a massive hit to its business (far worse than what was shown.) What trope is this?

fanboymaster: I suppose it could be partially considered a case of You Fail Law Forever, even if that trope usually applies to the conduct of trials, the rest doesn't quite fir in any trope I'm aware of.

A question regarding spoilers: Since the Jim/Pam wedding was heavily promoted by NBC, are pre-wedding Jim/Pam plot points still to be tagged as spoilers anyway as a courtesy for new viewers, or is it akin to closing the barn door after the cows got loose?

A question for those who purchased the DVDs: Meredith frequently flashes the camera; is it still censored?
  • Sandhi11: thankfully yes. (shutters)
