Random Troper: I think it's worth noting that there can be two kinds of 'anti-holiday' sorts: The Scrooge and the Grinch.
The Scrooge (as in Ebenezer) is a sourpuss, and doesn't like Christmas ... but he doesn't actively try to ruin it for everyone else. The Grinch, on the other hand, doesn't just stay home and go 'Bah humbug!', he actually goes out of his way to destroy everyone else's good time. So Ebenezer Scrooge wouldn't exactly be a Grinch.
