Morganite: It seems kind of ironic having MOMO on this list, since she's the focus of most of the dramatic scenes in Xenosaga...
Burai: I'd agree with that. MOMO lacks the basic sense of extraneousness that seems to be needed for this trope; she's significantly integrated into the plot (in the first game at least moreso than "normal" party members Ziggy and chaos). Plus, you can't even entirely say she looks out of place in the party, since Junior also looks like "just a kid" ...
