because there's nothing that says that there can't be variations on that system. Also: no trolling.
- Not that it's necessarily relevant, but if this troper knew this structure when he was in college, he wouldn't have taken Chemistry 300 (which he failed abysmally) and Physics 400 (which he squeaked through) during his freshman and sophomore years respectively. The school normally advised these were the real science classes that one needed to take if he or she was going into a science or engineering major.
