Kayube: Actually, I've heard the Doctor Who example was a mistake... but it worked well anyway. Can somebody confirm this?
Necromas: What about when the credits music/ending theme starts, but a scene is still going on instead of the usual credits/ending. Usually it's a dramatic scene and the music is toned down to match, and still allow dialog to be heard if necessary, and generally it transitions into the actual credits/ending. I don't want to make it a new trope right now though because I can't really think of any specific examples, I just have this strong sense of seeing it before, and I can't think of a cool name for the trope.
