Travis Wells: "To be fair, it was Kaolla who put laid the mines..." What? I'd fix this but I don't have any idea what it is trying to say.

Fencedude: *tries to remember what happened in that episode* Argh...that event wasn't in the manga, and I haven't watched the anime in years...I'm going to pull that last line out for now.

Looney Toons: Kitsune came roaring up to the island on a jetski, only to hit mines in the water just off-shore. In classic slapstick fashion, the jetski was totalled but she survived unscathed to land on the beach. When she complained about the mines, Kaolla admitted to laying them. At least, that's my recollection of the episode. I tend to remember the Crowd Song version of the theme song more than anything else in that ep.

Malimar: Is there a trope for a cave that is accessible only at low tide, and is filled with water at high tide? If so, we should make a link there from this one. If not, we should consider adding that to this one. The cave from Over Sea, Under Stone is a major example, though I'm sure many examples exist in real life, and I have thoughts in my mind that are probably incorrect from Harry Potter and A Song Of Ice And Fire.

Darktalon: I seem to remember more than one Enid Blyton adventure story had a cave like that, but I can't bring to mind any titles.

Kilyle: If they ever get around to adding major tides to, say, World Of Warcraft (or any similar MMORPG), I'm looking forward to the reverse of this trope: areas that can only be accessed when the tide is up. See, 'cuz it doesn't hurt you to swim and stuff, so a sandbar that gets covered by fifty feet of water wouldn't be a big deal... especially with breath-underwater potions. But the water could lift you up to an area you couldn't normally get to, like at the top of a cliff.
