Jordan: I've brought this up elsewhere, but I have a problem with the idea of saying that fascism is a left-wing movement. Sure, in the 1920s, there was an overlap between the two, and corporatism is probably a more left-leaning belief, but the people at Waco certainly wouldn't have identified at all with the left in America.

The Right-Wing Militia Fanatic would be charitably framed as a right-anarchist, wouldn't they? I'd guess they'd like Adolf Hitler to the extent they were racist, not because of fascism's economic philosophy.

Xelloss08: The article currently says "Has actually nothing to do with right-wing philosophy, as fascism is a socialist (left-wing) ideology". This is incorrect — Fascism emerged in Italy and Germany as a reaction against socialism. Corrective editing required.

  • Upon further consideration, what's a discussion of Fascism even doing on this page? The article is about "right wing militia fanatics", not "fascists". That part contributes nothing but Flame Bait. Zap.
  • Remember That's my name, don't wear it out? "Fascism" is a perfect example of a worn-out name; it's come to mean a political philosophy the speaker doesn't like. See Godwin's Law.
