Working Title: Relationship Voice Actor: From YKTTW

Lale: ATLA/ADJL — Actually, whenever I mention that coincidence, Zutarians deny it has anything to do with their ship.

Neophos: Unsure over whether it counts, but the adaptions of Fukumoto's works Akagi and Kaiji intentionally used this trope by casting Masato Hagiwara as both Akagi and Kaiji and Masane Tsukayama as both Iwao and Hyoudou. Worth adding as an example?

I don't know if dubbing also counts but Masakazu Morita and Fumiko Orikasa also pairs up in the Japanese dub of the High School Musical movies as Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez.

Filby: Isn't this trope just a limited version of Those Two Actors?

LE Xicon 712: no, its just a VA version Those Two Actors.

LE Xicon 712: Is it okay if we put in moments where an English voice actor dubs a Seiyuu's role more than once?

For example, Crispin Freeman has dubbed over Tomokazu Sugita twice as Hideki and Kyon.

Nyscha: Can we separate Seiyuu and English voice actors? For the sake of making the page cleaner looking.

Arima Reiji: If you ask me, absolutely - I'm torn on whether American VAs should be included at all, except in openly-stated examples where it's been commented on by the actors or directors themselves. Otherwise it's too hard to distinguish pattern from coincidence, given that there are only a handful of American VAs to do all the roles that Japan has an entire industry for. It's kinda like seeing a "pattern" in the relationships between characters and actors in your high school's Drama Club... the sample size is too small for it to mean anything. (^_^)
