Looney Toons:

Sailor Pluto dies in the future, then reincarnates backwards in time so that her present self can still guard the Time Gate while still helping out.
Technically, I'd call that preincarnation. <grin>

Fire Walk: Pulled

  • How could we get this far without mentioning Doctor Who?!?

Because regeneration is not reincarnation. If there's a specific example of reincarnation in the series (and there probably is), that should be added

Romanticide: Am I the only one that thinks that we need a thread of "Our reencarnations are different"?

Kilyle: Back when I caught Sailor Moon on TV for the first time... I don't recall how old I was, but I remember that they started with the second season instead of the first for some reason. And either I had no clue what reincarnation was (likely enough), or they didn't present the subject matter well enough (probably that too), because I was having a lot of trouble reconciling Sailor Moon's two mommies. After all, she's really the daughter of the Queen of the Moon, who... let her be adopted by this earth mommy... who for some reason doesn't... remember?... that her daughter is really an alien... and her stepbrother there never got told, either, and... I guess no one told Serena.
