Austin: The Angel entry, wikipedia says that they had planned to shoot it in the rain, but they didn't have the budget to fake it. Coincidentally, it rained the day they were shooting.
Random Surfer: I may be wrong (which is why I'm not adding it now) but AIR on Buffy, when Angel got de-souled after his "perfect happiness" moment it was in the rain, making it a subversion of this trope.
