Keru: I heard from one source that there is a Japanese legend the concept is based on, but fifteen minutes of searching couldn't turn it up. If anyone has conclusive proof of where the concept actually originated, please don't hesitate to make the edit. (Though, I'd appreciate a post here with where the knowledge came from... for my own curiosity, if nothing else.)

Seth: Some hand-fasting ceremonies use a red ribbon instead of string or rope to bind the couple together. I always thought it had something to do with that but no-one can really claim they invented the use of Red to symbolise love.

Looney Toons: Seth, in your entry

  • Rena writes a song about her seedy relationship with Shin by describing it as taking the red string of someone's finger.

What show is this?

Seth: Damn, its been ages since i forgot to do that. It was from the latest dubbed episode of Nana, what is worse is i miswrote Reira's name.

Glenn Magus Harvey: If it's red and invisible, it might use the same cloaking technology as the Invisible Pink Unicorn.

SirQuady: I know this needs a pic, maybe someone could make use of this? http://chrisyates.net/reprographics/index.php?page=168

Zeke: I see there's a pic now, but if that's supposed to be Kim Possible and Shego, we are in desperate need of a better one.

Pichu-kun: Actually, those are their children from a infamous fanfic.

Pichu-kun: Can we use this for the new picture?
