BritBllt: Huh? I can't be the only person who finds the trope description vague to the point of meaningless. It's like there used to be a paragraph that explained what it meant, but it got cut out so now it's just a lot of supporting text that's not supporting anything. I'd rewrite it, but I'm not very clear on just what the heck it's supposed to be. I'd assume from the name that it's about humanizing companies via a spokesman character (the Geico Gecko, for instance), but it reads more like it's about any kind of advertising, period.
