Ununnilium: I'm kind of confused. I get why Tolkein and Lovecraft count, but why do Babylon 5 and Summoner?

Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: Babylon 5 has the prophecies of Valen, which get studied and fulfilled with some regularity. It also has the Vorlons and the Shadows, two races so powerful and old that they have been around longer than any other civilization and are themselves the stuff of myth. (Can't help you with Summoner yet.)

Ganondorfdude11: Would Star Wars or The Legend Of Zelda count? I've heard Star Wars described as "modern mythology" several times, and it has an intricate universe with thousands of years of history. Zelda also has thousands of years of fictional history, and ancient legends and archetypes.
