Haphazard: Shouldn't it be noted that this trope isn't really likely to die out, but it'll still live on in historical pieces? I mean, the note about Full Metal Alchemist, where they don't even have portable phones in the era that is based on... sure, in modern works, it won't work in a while, but still.
