Vampire Buddha swoops in to do the natter removal thing

* Amazingly, one of the most Trope Overdosed shows in existence has yet to be mentioned: Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Honestly, people.\\

Danel: Edited to remove this, which as far as I can tell is an example of Complaining About Games You Dont Like (to be fair, I admit not many like this one) which just doesn't really fit.

  • Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 is more or less this trope in the form of an entire game. After the final fight with the Big Bad, Solaris, we then see that time is reverted back to before the game even happened with the exception of completely erasing Solaris (and therefore Mephiles and Iblis) from existence, with no historical evidence at all and with no one remembering any of it outside of a small bit of deja vu from Sonic at the repeated beginning scene, effectively making Solaris a Monster of the Week, not to mention the entire game never actually happened. One could argue that most, if not all of the 3D Sonic games are like this (Adventure and up), but events from those games are at least remembered and occasionally referenced. Strangely enough, even though Solaris, and therefore the two that fused to make him were erased from existance and history itself, Iblis is referenced in Sonic and the Secret Rings. All of this is probably part of the reason barely anyone liked the game in the first place.
