Working Title: Mishmash Museum: From YKTTW
Zero: I have to cry foul as I usually do at the Night at the Museum example. The movie (and its source novel) are set at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, which actually does have a Roosevelt statue, a dinosaur skeleton, stuffed monkeys, &c. Doesn't change that fact that the movie was pretty insipid to begin with, though.
BT The P: As to Doctor Who, is not the "History of Man's Time-Space Travel" a good enough theme to justify displays in a single room? Timeline friezes are common at museums.
Dinosaur Bobs Your Uncle: The troper who wrote The Davinci Code example has clearly never actually been in the Lourvre. It wouldn't have been that difficult for the old man to do everything he does, given he was running on adrenaline, Righteous Fervor, and Determined Urgency at the time. The paintings he dealt with are both in the same small room, and he didn't get very far at all after that.
